We all know that behind the shimmers of the glitz and glamour world, there’s a different story going on! But how many people have you seen getting vocal about it? Well, very few dare to be candid, and undoubtedly, Soham Mukherji is one of them.

This 21-year-old is the son of Bollywood’s eminent singer, Shaan, and has already marked his foray into the music industry with amazing skills. He is a vocalist who started his journey as an A&R intern at Sony Music and has also worked as a freelancer. Though it’s been just a few years since Soham Mukherji has been residing in the music industry, he has witnessed a few things and speaks about them!

Sharing his experience in the industry, he says, “Many people in the music industry are welcoming and will support you throughout your journey. There is an ocean of opportunities here, and if you are capable, you might fetch a few.”

Though the industry has evolved on a technological level, Soham Mukherji says that we need to focus more on the infrastructure. He also added, “More transparency is needed between artists and music companies. Many times, the artist is unaware of legal processes or doesn’t get paid in royalties.”

Soham Mukherji also discusses how tough it is for artists to earn a steady income. He says, “It takes a lot of time to establish oneself in the industry, and above all, there is no static income for an artist. Many times a newcomer gets paid less.”

The singer has released many music singles like Befizool, David Beckham, Lifestyle (with Darcy), Gone, etc. Soham is currently in Los Angeles and pursuing further education. He has many projects looming over the horizon, and we wish him luck on the same.
