2022 Assembly Election Results Updates:- Sidhu trailing from Amritsar East, Adityanath leading
2022 Assembly Election Results are underway as the counting for the five states is taking place in counting centers across all five states. As per the Election Commission, Congress Punjab Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu is trailing for Amritsar East. He is getting a tough fight from the SAD candidate Bikram Singh Majithia. Talking about Uttar Pradesh, the BJP is leading in the state and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is leading from his seat of Gorakhpur Urban. Yogi is expected to sweep the seat with little to no competition. As of 09:30, the Bharatiya Janta Party is leading in 170 seats in UP while the Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party (SP) is leading in 77 seats. Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya is leading from his seat.
Talking about Goa, the ruling BJP is getting a neck-to-neck fight from Congress. The BJP, as of now is leading 18 seats while the Congress is ahead in 16 seats in the 40 seat assembly. In a massive surprise, Congress is trailing behind the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party in the state of Punjab. AAP is ahead in 65 seats while the Congress party that fought under the leadership of Charanjit Singh Channi is only leading in 17 seats as of now.
SAD chief Prakash Singh Badal is also trailing from his seat while in an unexpected move, Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi is also trailing from his seat of Chamakaur Shaheb. One state that BJP is clearing sweeping is the North-Eastern State of Manipur. The party is leading in 24 seats out of 60 assembly seats, the Congress is merely leading in 8 seats.
