It seems BJP is leaving no stones unturned to win the crucial upcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. The Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to take out Six mega Yatras that would cover all the 403 Assembly constituencies in the state. The idea behind the Yatras is to spread awareness among people regarding the developmental work done by its governments at the Centre and in the state. Vidyasagar Sonkar, a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council has been appointed as the in-charge of the yatras.
As per the top sources in the BJP, the National and state-level leaders of the ruling dispensation are likely to be a part of these Yatras. The BJP, through these six Yatras, is aiming to cover all the regions in the state which includes Awadh, Gorakhpur, Kashi, Brij, Western UP, Purvanchal, and Bundelkhand. The decision comes after a crucial meet at the BJP National Headquarters where Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, UP BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who is the party’s in-charge of the state elections were present. Also, present were Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma and General Secretary (organization) Sunil Bansal.
