This India is unstoppable, tireless and does not give up & is ready for the next 1000 years to come: PM Modi

PM of India

While addressing the nation from the ramparts of Red Fort on the 77th Independence Day, PM Modi in his speech communicated the road map for the development of the country. In his 10th consecutive Independence Day speech, he spoke for nearly 89 minutes on 15th August where he highlighted the achievements of the government over the last 10 years and stated the opportunities India has. The PM proclaimed that this new India is unstoppable, tireless and does not give up. The Prime Minister pleaded with fellow citizens to seize this chance to realise the nation’s potential since the choices and sacrifices made now will have an impact on the nation for the next 1,000 years. In his criticism of the opposition, PM Modi focused on themes of dynasty politics, appeasement, and corruption.

In his one-and-a-half-hour-long speech, he talked about the major issues like at the Geopolitics level the world order is changing and India is becoming the voice of the global south. India will be in the world’s top three economies in the coming years and global experts predict that India will not stop here, the decision we take today will decide the future of Bharat for the next 1000 years. He also spoke on issues like Manipur, inflation and corruption.

The PM called the citizens of the country his parivarjan (family member) and targeted the opposition for parivarvaad (dynastic rule). He said we believe in “sarvajan hitay, sarvajan sukhay” (the welfare of all, the happiness of all) and take many strong decisions for the welfare of the country.  He specified that “the demography, democracy, and diversity is the Triveni of the country and could build the country.”  He also highlighted the fact “that after the pandemic India emerged as the Vishwa Mitra (friend of the world).”

He set the stage for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections of 2024, saying when “I will come back next year for the flag hoisting at Red Fort, India will be more powerful.” Amid all this, there was a controversy that arose when the national president of the Indian National Congress, Mallikarjun Kharge did not reach the Red Fort for the Independence Day celebration. Global leaders from Russia, France, America, Israel, and many more shared greetings on Indian Independence Day.
