All you need to know about NEET Exam

Nowadays there is a lot of buzz regarding NEET. LetÂs just get to know more about it.

Firstly let’s just understand about the term itself, NEET National ability cum entrance test, it is an exam in India for those students who aspire to opt for medical courses as their under graduation. It offers medical and dental courses in private or government medical colleges. It started in 2013 excluding 2014 & 2015.

Now the steps you need to follow for applying:

Step 1-Visit their Official Website i.e. ntaneet.nic.in

Step 2- click ÂOnline Submission for ApplicationÂ

Step 3- Click ÂNew RegistrationÂ

Step 4- Fill details and click ÂSubmitÂ

Step 5 Â And Finally Pay the Registration Fee.

 Fees criteria for NEET:

SC/ST/Transgender/ PwD Â 800 INR

General/UR category – 1500 INR

General OBC-NCL Â 1400 INR

Documents Required for NEET:

7-8 copies of the uploaded photographs on the Registration form.

Copy of online confirmation.

Proof of fees submitted.

Self- declaration of J&K candidates that have opted seats under 15% quota.

Important points to be kept in mind:

It is necessary to keep all the documents safe till the moment you get admission in the college.

The candidates who will complete the registration fulfilling all the requirements will be issued with the admit card.

At present the times are unprecedented, the world is suffering from Coronavirus, and India specifically is even facing cyclones and floods and whatnot. So, the situation is dicey that the exams should be held or not. The government is still not in a clear state of mind regarding the exams. Also, students and Congress is against the decision of keeping the exam in itself and want it to postpone. But the student must be prepared whatever happens.
