‘Modern Love Mumbai’ features six unique yet universal stories from many walks of life, all set in Mumbai, the city of dreams.

‘Modern Love Mumbai,’ now with the Mumbai version, is one of the most liked web series on Amazon Prime. In the series, one can see various celebrated actors such as Fatima Shaikh, Chitrangada Singh, Arshad Warsi, Pratik Gandhi, Ranbeer Brar, Masaba Gupta, Dolly singh, and Aadar Malik among others. The series has 6 unusual stories with 6 directors, Shonali Bose, Hansal Mehta, Vishal Bhardwaj, Alankrita Shrivastava, Dhruv Sehgal, and Nupur Asthana.


The web series is the culmination of 6 lively love, hate, loss, and ditch stories and is accurate to life. The short films within the series are of 40 minutes, each character searching for their love. The movie is based on a contemporary theme that love has no gender.


It is the Indian version of the American series Modern Love Mumbai created by John Carney. Six directors have directed their part of the movie. It is fundamental in the movie as well. A girl with roots in Mumbai tries to find a home and finds someone special.


Raat Rani by Shonali Bose is one of the few movies about self-love. The crushing societal issues and importance of freedom and wishes and whims of the girl are shown.


Cutting Chai by Nupur Asthana is the authentic blend of dreamland in Mumbai. People who tend to come to Mumbai have loads of dreams, and making their dream true is like an achievement. In the midst of all these, finding love is like a fairy tale.

‘Modern Love Mumbai’ tells six distinct stories; however, it might be a little slow at times. Although, it depicts genuine, uncensored love tales, which are greatly required in the post-pandemic environment. The show’s background score is really stunning. Every Mumbaikar should watch ‘Modern Love Mumbai’ since it emphasizes the city’s beauty and uniqueness.
