Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2023: Here is a complete list of all winners

Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards

One of India’s most prestigious film festivals, the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards was announced on Monday. The winner's list was an exciting one for the fans. The Kashmir Files, the movie that gave everyone chills won the Best Film Award whilst Anupam Kher took home the Most Versatile Actor of The Year award for the film. On the other hand, everyone’s very own Gangubai, Alia Bhatt received the Best Actress award for Gangubai Kathiawadi. She also did take her husband Ranbir Kapoor’s Best Actor award for Brahmastra on his behalf.


The list of other winners includes R Balki who bagged the Best Director award for Chup: Revenge of The Artist,  Rishab Shetty got the Most Promising Actor award for Kantara, Manish Paul took home the Best Actor In A Supporting Role for Jugjugg Jeeyo, the Best Web Series award was taken by Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, Varun Dhawan got the Critics Best Actor award for Bhediya, RRR won the Film of The Year award, the most trending TV show at present: Anupamaa got the Television Series of The Year award.


The  Best Actor In A Television Series was bagged by Zain Imam for Fanaa- Ishq Mein Marjawaan, the Best Actress In A Television Series category was won by Tejasswi Prakash for Naagin, the Best Male and Best Female Singer awards were given to Sachet Tandon for Maiyya Mainu and Neeti Mohan for Meri Jaan respectively, the Best Cinematographer award was given to PS Vinod for Vikram Vedha and the Outstanding Contribution In The Music Industry was taken by Hariharan. Above all of this, the industry’s all-time lady love Rekha was honoured with an award for her Outstanding Contribution In The Film Industry. 


However, in the midst of all the celebrations and victory, Kangana Ranaut once again took to Instagram Stories to express how disappointed she was over the fact that the star kids took away the majority of awards. To this, she further shared her own list of ‘deserving’ winners. In addition to all this, she also claimed that the ‘nepo mafia’ is sabotaging the careers of all the self-made people.
