On the fateful day of June 9th 2024 which introduced a new wave of political consciousness leading the nation to…
Ram Mandir is set to be inaugurated just before the general elections of 2024. Shiv Sena (UBT ) chief and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut on Tuesday stated that there is a threat in the minds of the local public that a Godhra-like happening can take place at the time of Ram Mandir’s unveiling. Raut said, “There is nervousness in people’s and several political heads’ minds that the political party (BJP) can orchestrate the drama of a surgical strike to win elections, they can do anything.” He also quoted that Ex-Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik reported that the 2019 Pulwama attack did not actually happen but was planned, similar allegations were also made about the Godhra incident (in 2002), that it was planned.
Raut added, “We have concerns. During the inauguration of Ram Mandir, a crowd of millions may come to Ayodhya by train. We might have a problem at that time, in certain areas, stones would be pelted on trains and they might be thrashed. Then, riots can be initiated(by the BJP). This is the suspicion in the minds of people and political parties.” Raut slammed the BJP by claiming that they have no agenda for 2024 and hence it could produce communal detachment and riot to get votes and come out victorious in the elections.
Disclosing BJP’s past strategies to win the elections Raut further added. “ In their first term, the BJP deceived people, and in the second term, they planned Pulwama and the drama of airstrike and also encouraged communal riots to get votes. Now, in 2024, they are again planning a communal conflict and communal riots to win elections.” He also addressed the problem of the BJP is that they ignore other major issues of the country like inflation and unemployment.
