Honda has announced a recall of approximately 1.2 million vehicles in the United States after discovering a potential issue with the rearview camera image display. The affected models include the 2018-2023 Odyssey minivans, 2019-2022 Pilot SUVs, and 2019-2023 Passport SUVs. The recall comes as a result of a faulty coaxial cable connector that may prevent the rearview image from appearing on the dashboard screen.

Identification of Affected Models

The recall specifically targets certain Honda vehicle models, namely the 2018-2023 Odyssey minivans, 2019-2022 Pilot SUVs, and 2019-2023 Passport SUVs. Owners of these vehicles are urged to take prompt action to address the potential issue.

In response to the recall, Honda will provide a free resolution for affected vehicle owners. Authorised dealers will replace the cable harness and install a straightening cover over the vehicle cable connector to rectify the problem. Honda has taken the initiative to ensure the safety and satisfaction of its customers.
