On April 30th, 2023, Monday, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ completed its 100th episode. The episode was broadcasted live across the country and in the headquarters of the United Nations in New York. The Governor of Kerala, Arif Mohammad Khan said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ shows how much a leader can motivate a nation into action through his inspiring words as well as encourage the people to be a better version of themselves.
On Sunday, the Governor of Kerala was participating in the special event held at the Raj Bhawan in connection with the broadcast of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ 100th episode. Prime Ministers’ thinking on education progress, overall development, welfare, and a host of other matters have inspired the people and roused them towards the genuine realm of actions. He also mentioned that the show ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has been providing a platform for the people to lend a voice to the dreams, desires, and optimism of almost 130 crore Indians.
“It has been a tunic to stimulate the idea of ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas Sabka Prayas,” he further added. The Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, V Muraleedharan was also one of them who attended the event and said that there is no other programme in the world other than Mann Ki Baat, where the head of the country interacts with the general public directly. All the prominent personalities, Padma awardees, National Balashri award winners, and young writers who got selected for the PM’s Yuva scheme were also presented at the event.
A special exhibition was also organized by the CBC (Central Bureau of Communication) and inaugurated by the Governor. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and its various departments jointly organized the program at Raj Bhawan. October 3rd, 2014, was the day when the programme was started and now it has become a primary support for the government’s citizen outreach program.
