Actor Divyendu, best known for playing Munna Bhaia in the hit OTT series Mirzapur, will not appear in any more episodes.
Mirzapur, the most popular Indian OTT series, is about to return after four years. 2020 saw the release of Mirzapur’s second session. And the wait is finally over for another session. In April 2024, Season 3 will be available on Amazon Prime Video. However, actor Divyendu, who gained notoriety for playing Munna Bhaia in the Mirzapur Series, will no longer be a part of the series.
Actor Divyendu Sharma, popularly known as Divyenndu, is from India and appears in Hindi movies and television shows. Following his breakthrough performance in the comedy Pyaar Ka Punchnama, for which he received the Screen Award for Best Male Debut, he played supporting parts in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Chashme Baddoor.
However, he moved toward joining Mirzapur after that and did incredibly well there. After delivering back-to-back hits in both seasons, the actor won’t be seen again in the upcoming project.

At the same time, the audience recognised him as Munna Bhaia.
In an interview, the actor explained his reason for leaving the show. He explained that the character of Munna Bhaia had a significant impact on his personality, often leading to dark moments. The actor added, ‘ We should not over romanticise going too deep into a character because it is not easy.’
The actor will not be seen further in season 3, but his charm will still be there for all his fans and even the star cast of Mirzapur. The third instalment will feature acclaimed actors such as Pankaj Tripathi, Harshita Gaur, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Verma, and Sheeba Chadda, among others.
