PM Narendra Modi landed in Washington DC to meet Vice  President Kamala Harris

Prime Minister Narendra Modi touched the land of Washington DC on early Thursday morning for his three-day visit to the United States. The US summit will mark Prime MinisterÂs first meet post covid pandemic. During his arrival, he was welcomed by IndiaÂs Ambassador, Defense Attache including Brigadier Anoop Singhal, Air Commodore Anjan Bhadra, and naval attache Commodore Nirbhaya Bapna. On the first day, he is going to have a conversation with US President Joe Biden and will also address the United Nations General Assembly. 

PM Modi said on Wednesday, just before leaving for the US. “I am also looking forward to meeting Vice President Kamala Harris to explore opportunities for cooperation between our two nations particularly in the area of science and technology,” 

Today Prime Minister will also be meeting US Vice President Kamala Harris at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. He will attend the maiden in-person Quad summit and address the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.  The meeting is expected to strengthen the Indo-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership and bolster ties with Japan & Australia. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Japanese PM Yoshihide Suga will also be holding bilateral discussions with PM Narendra Modi. 

“Namaste USA! PM @narendramodi was greeted on arrival by Shri Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Ambassador of India to the USA, and Mr. T. H. Brian McKeon, US Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources,” Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted.

The massive crowd was seen applauding Narendra Modi at the Andrews Joint Airforce Base. People were spotted with sparkling charm and twinkling eyes when they were waiting to welcome the honorable Prime Minister of India. Many Indian Americans were seen chanting the name of Prime Minister with utmost love & admiration, the crowd was also waving the flag of India to show their regard for the Indian Prime Minister, reported ANI.
