According to the Union Ministry and Family Welfare on Thursday India crossed 44 lakh cases, as 95,735 new and 1, 172 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. It was the highest single-day jump in the cases. ÂThe total number of COVID-19 cases stand 44, 65,864 including 9, 19,018 active cases, 34, 71,784 cured/recovered/migrated and 75,062 deaths, added the Health Ministry. In India, Maharashtra is the state that has the highest number of corona cases. 23,816 new cases were reported in the state on Wednesday, which took the total number of cases to 9, 67,349. As per the report of the Health Department, the number of recoveries has reached 6, 86,462, and active cases are 2, 52,734.
Coming to Andhra Pradesh, 97,271 number of cases are active and 4, 25,607 have recovered, and the total number has reached to 5, 27,512. Delhi recorded 4,039 active cases in on a single day, and the total number of cases in the capital on Wednesday has crossed the number 2, 01,174.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has tested 5, 29, 34,433 samples till 9th September for COVID-19. ICMR stated, ÂThe total number of samples tested up to September 9 is 5, 29, 34,433 including 11, 29,756 samples tested yesterday.Â
According to WHO globally the confirmed cases have reached 27,486,960 and deaths have reached 894,983. In America, cases have reached to 14,257,006. 4,964,948 confirmed cases in South-Asia and 4,600,967 confirmed cases in Europe. Western Pacific has 526,302 confirmed cases.
