On Thursday evening, K Chandrashekar Rao, the former chief minister of Telangana, at his farmhouse in the Erravalli village of Siddipet district, fell and broke his hip with a hairline fracture. His daughter, MLC K Kavitha, stated that he was receiving professional care for a minor hip bone injury. According to reports, the incident happened while Rao was tying his Pancha, but the details surrounding the fall are still unclear.

KCR, the BRS king Garu, was hurt slightly and is receiving professional medical attention at the hospital. With all the encouragement and best wishes, Dad will be well soon. Thank you so much for your love,” she mentioned.

After his party lost the November 30 Assembly elections to the Congress, KCR had spent the weekend at his farmhouse. He resigned from his position as governor, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, and gave up the house and office he had occupied for the previous nine years. KCR had met party leaders at the farmhouse for the past few days.

Leaders of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) who are close to KCR’s family said that the 69-year-old KCR was taken early on Friday to a private hospital in Secunderabad.

The steadfast leader, who has guided the party to two victories since the state’s formation in 2014, could not work the same magic this year. On December 4, following the election results, he hosted his party’s MLAs at his Erravalli farmhouse. According to sources, he was observed chit-chatting with his former ministerial colleagues and the party’s newly elected MLAs.

Following Rao’s hospitalization, BRS MLAs from different districts travelled to Hyderabad to visit him. K. Chandrashekhar’s health is closely monitored by former ministers K T Rama Rao, Harish Rao, and MLC Kavitha, who are also in close contact with the medical team overseeing his treatment.

In a post, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his prayers for the BRS chief’s quick recovery. “I’m sorry to hear that former Telangana chief minister Shri KCR Garu is hurt. I hope he heals quickly and stays healthy,” the PM remarked.

This comes after BRS was recently defeated in the Telangana legislative assembly election, where Congress’s. The Congress upset the BRS, which could only win 39 seats, and prevented KCR from winning a record-breaking third term by winning 64 of the 119 seats. KCR, who ran on two chairs, defeated Kamareddy but defeated Gajwel.
