On the fateful day of June 9th 2024 which introduced a new wave of political consciousness leading the nation to glorious progress. PM Modi for the third successive term took an oath in front of the Rashtrapathi Bhavan consisting of a 72 members Union Council of Ministers. His first sign filed after the swearing consists of farmers welfare. He also conduct a Cabinet meeting to etch out the priorities for the new term.
The cabinet includes a great blend of youth and experience. Which includes prominent BJP leaders such as Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman, and S Jaishankar.
Within the tenets of this newly formed cabinet, profound interest has been given to states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Bihar securing four cabinet berths and Uttar Pradesh receiving nine ministerial positions. Forty-two ministers are from the Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. However, one prominent thing to note is the lack of Muslim representational figures in the cabinet.
With the rich history of implementation of social, cultural and economic advancements in the country. The new administration will deploy initiatives tending to women, poor farmers and small business owners. Which are prone to economic shocks, thereby safeguarding and empowering the marginalised sector. Modi 3.0 is synonymous with democracy and progress with special emphasis laid on youth development and gender equality.
BJP headed by PM Modi successfully strived to bring international events to India. And provides us with opportunities which were once unexplored. Within his government in power, the image of Modi stands for the nationalistic agenda of peace and solidarity echoing the notion of “Unity in Diversity”.
By carefully evaluating the political manifesto of BJP, it can be noted that special prominence has been given to “economic” priorities. The expansion of India’s footprints in global value chains including pharmaceuticals, electric vehicles and green energy is the prerogative of Modi 3.0.
Additionally, emphasis will be directed to the physical and digital infrastructure and on the energy transitionally. Lastly, Modi 3.0 objective will be to enhance the country’s global profile by gaining a permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council.
