Ashfaan Shaikh closes the first show at IKFW for Bollywood designer Kirti Rathore, marks his debut

The Indian Kids Fashion Week 2021 which has been kickstarted in Hyderabad saw Bollywood designer Kirti Rathore unveil her new collection. She chose social media influencer Ashfaan Shaikh as her show stopper. This marks Ashfaan’s debut on the ramp and in the world of design, and fashion shows. The IKFW will go on an India-wide tour before making it global. The Hyderabad show was declared a success with Kirti Rathod and Ashfaan Shaikh winning praises from crowds, media, and critiques.

Commenting on his debut and describing his experience at the fashion show, Sheikh exclaimed, “I really never thought I would be here doing this someday. This is definitely a huge step and I am grateful to Kirti ma’am for even considering me and giving me this opportunity. I am not thinking about future opportunities but taking this time to appreciate my audience who have enabled me to reach this stage.”

Kirti Rathore, also commenting on her production and on her choice of Ashfaan as her show-stopper said, “Ashfaan’s social media presence impressed me and his ease allowed us to take that chance. He was professional, calm and confident – everything you need in your show-stopper. This has truly been a great experience and I would love to open this avenue where more such social media stars can participate with us. IKFW is a good platform to launch new faces and productions and I just took the opportunity to open this doorway. Rest, my presenters steal the show and I give them the credit for doing justice to my work.”

The Indian Kids Fashion Week is the biggest kids fashion show on a global scale. Its season 8 will go on its Indian tour after its successful show in Hyderabad including Dubai. Thousands kids walked the ramp on Sunday.
