They are stored on a non-corrodible surface within cabinets or storage shelves. Flammable or corrosive chemicals are placed in cabinets designed for this purpose. Chemical storage rooms in the Chemistry Laboratory are locked and have a ventilation purge fan (for air changes per hour) for the outside air.
