Spoken word poetry is an art form that derives much of its strength from a speaker’s delivery and style. It is a process of bringing poetry from page to stage. Some folks have a poetic mind, literally, and they can routinely turn their entire conversation into a series of poems. One such Spoken Word Artist Sandeep VirkÂs poetry is making waves in Punjabi music industry.
Virk has been hosting various Punjab-based and national events. One the major event hosted by Sandeep is ÂTwitter Di Chaupal that was organized by the social media App Twitter. The event was attended by the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
She started her career as a talent manager to renowned artists, including Mandy Takhar, Navi Ferozpurwala, Wamiqa Gabbi, Anmol Gagan Maan working in the Punjabi industry. Later, she got in touch with the renowned Punjabi poet, actress and host Satinder Satti. She is working with Satti as her manager. It is pertinent to mention that Satti is her inspirational as well, who told Virk that she is good at poetry and start making her videos and put it on social media sites and Youtube. Interestingly, Sandeep Virk posted two videos on Facebook which got viral from where she got an idea to mix poetry with music and come up with something different.
When asked about his achievements and dedication towards fulfilling dreams, Sandeep Virk said, ÂDedication and passion are what one needs to achieve his goals. Struggles in fact make you stronger and a better person to judge your decisions. I have heard many success stories and they in fact inspire me more to work towards my goal. There is a lot more to explore, make mistakes and learn from them to get better.Â
Virk, who hails from PunjabÂs Mohali, is working effortlessly as an artist and a female talent manager which are very few in the industry. Her courage, patience and hard work will definitely pay her off.
