2022 was indeed a great year for the Indian Cinema as it witnessed an unprecedented level of success at the Box-Office. Pushpa:- The Fire, RRR, KGF 2, Kantara, The Kashmir Files, Drishyam 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 were some of the movies that completely created a sensation among the movie buffs and brought them back to the theatres. 1. Pathaan

The action-packed thriller starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham is the movie people have been waiting for. With the release of the teaser and the movie trailer, Pathaan has generated quite a buzz among the fans of Shah Rukh Khan as he was seen in a bold new avatar with 6-packs abs and long hairs. The movie also witnessed Boycott Calls as Deepika Padukone was seen wearing a Orange Bikini in a steamy song ‘Besharam Rang‘ that miffed certain Right Wing Groups and they demanded for boycott of the movie. The movie has been shot across 8 countries and is expected to create a storm at the Box-Office. With less than a month left for the release of the movie, it is to be seen whether SRK can finally make a successful comeback on the silver screen or not!

2. Bholaa

The Ajay Devgn starrer Bholaa is an action- thriller that has been directed by Ajay himself. Also in the lead is Tabu and there are huge expectations from the movie as the Ajay-Tabu pair is widely loved by fans and recently, in 2022, the pair gave a wonderful performance in Drishyam 2. Sporting Bhasma and seen reading Bhagvadgeeta in the teaser, Ajay is set to have increased his fan’s expectations. Bholaa is an official remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kaithi that released in 2019. The film has an ensemble cast that includes names like Amala Paul and Abhishek Bachchan who would be seen making a guest appearance. Bholaa will be released in 3D and is slated to set a new benchmark at the Box-Office. This is a movie no movie watchers can expect to miss out.

3. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan

In a never seen avatar, sporting long hair, wearing sunglasses, Salman Khan, often referred to as Bhaijaan by his fans, was seen teasing his fans in the recently launched poster of his upcoming film- Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. As soon as Salman launched the poster, fans on social media were taken by their Bhaijaan’s new look. The movie is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Farhad Samji that stars Salman Khan, Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu and Amrita Puri. EID is incomplete without a Salman Khan starrer blockbuster and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is booked for this EID 2023.

4. Jawan

Yes, it seems like 2023 is a Shah Rukh Khan year. Jawan would be SRK’s second SRK release this year. Directed by Atlee, Jawan will feature Khan in a dual role alongside Nayanthara. Wrapped in a Bandage, Shah Rukh Khan created a storm with the release of the first look poster. The movie has an ensemble cast that includes Priyamani, Sunil Grover and Vijay Sethupathi who is a mega star down the South. The movie is slated to release in multi-language and is being dubbed in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.

Release Date:- 2nd June

5. Adipurush

The much-anticipated periodic drama based on Hindu epic Ramayana starring Bahubali fame Prabhas is a movie that has generated quite a hype. The movie also features Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh and is directed by Om Raut who also gave a blockbuster hit, Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero. The movie would be released in 3D and was first slated to release in early 2023. However, after a lot of criticism on Social Media regarding VFX in the movie, the makers announced a new date. It is to be seen whether director Om Raut would be able to deliver on the expectations of the fans or not just like he did with Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji. The movie is made on a massive budget of INR 500 crores.

6. Tiger 3

The Salman Khan- Katrina Kaif is back with Tiger franchise and this time it will be bigger and bolder as Emraan Hashmi is also the part of Tiger 3 which is currently being filmed. Unlike the last two films of the franchise, Tiger 3 will be directed by Maneesh Sharma and not Ali Abbas Zafar. A Korean stunt team has reportedly choreographed the sequences that will be filmed. As per media reports, a mega jail-break scene will be recreated using VFX. Professional body-builder Varinder Singh Ghuman will soon join Salman again at the shooting. Tiger 3 is set to shatter all the previous records at the box-office.

7. Dunki

How can 2023 conclude without a massive hit from Shah Rukh Khan? Like we said, it seems 2023 is a SRK Year. Dunki, directed by ace director Rajkumar Hirani, stars SRK, Taapsee Pannu and Boman Irani. The movie has widely been shot in the Middle-East and as per reports, Shah Rukh Khan will also be shooting an underwater action sequence. The storyline revolves around the rampant use of an illegal backdoor route called ‘Donkey Flight’ by Indians to immigrate to countries like Canada and USA.

Release Date:- 22nd December
