Cricket Sensation, Shubham Gill become the first cricketer to lend his voice for the Spider-Man franchise

Indian Cricketer Shubhman Gill is all set to woo the audience with his voice. Yes, it's true, Cricket Shubhman Gill is the new voice of the friendly childhood superhero Spider-Man in India. He will be voicing Spider-Man in Hindi as well as in Punjabi in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Shubhman Gill has become the first sports personality to lend a voice to a character in one of Hollywood's most celebrated franchises.  


Shubhman Gill took to his Instagram and said, “Shub-Man is now Spider-Man! Thrilled to give my voice to the Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar in Spider-Man: Across the #SpiderVerse. The trailer will be dropping soon! Be prepared for some web-slinging action.” This news comes as a surprise for his fans. The cricket sensation has reportedly been dubbed in Hindi as well as Punjabi versions of Spiderman. This comes as a surprise to his fans, and they are waiting. 


While expressing the excitement he further added, “Since my childhood, I have loved watching Spiderman and I have grown up watching it. For the first time, the Indian Spider-Man is debuting on the screen, giving my voice to the main lead Spiderman in both languages, Punjab and Hindi  was such a remarkable experience for me. I am already feeling like a superhero. I am super excited and eagerly waiting for the release of the movie.” 


Shubhman Gill, who is a right-handed opening batsman and plays for Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League will be voicing Spider-Man in Hindi and Punjabi languages. June 2nd is the day when Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released by the Sony Pictures Entertainment in 10 different vernacular languages. Shubhman Gill is ready to make his debut as Indian Spiderman Pavitr Prabhakar on the big screen.
