Ahmed who was convicted has seen his sentence after thirty days of the controversial murder of Umesh Pal who was a key witness in the 2005 murder case of BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party) MLA Raju Pal.

Umesh Pal was killed on his way out of his car Hyundai Creat SUV in Prayagraj on February 24 this year. Not just this, two policemen who were with him at that time were also killed in the shootout.

CCTV footage has revealed that Umesh Pal and one of his two police bodyguards were getting off the SUV when all of a sudden several gunmen came from the rear end and started shooting at them. Another man was witnessed using crude bombs during an assault that certainly exploded into a cloud of smoke which led to panic and trouble on the road and people were seen running for their vehicles or outside of shops for safety.
