It received a warm welcome from the viewers as the film made INR 75 crore in all languages on the first day itself. The movie also surpassed Gadar 2 and Jailer’s first-day collections. The movie’s storyline revolves around a man who is on a personal mission to fight against all the evils of society because he made a promise years ago. Therefore, he goes on to fight a dangerous lawbreaker who has bothered many people.
The superstar made his comeback in January with Pathaan, and now he has delivered a blockbuster yet again. The critics, cinephiles, and fans have liked the movie and called it a hit. The film got a massive positive response from the people. Shah Rukh Khan proved his dominance not only in the Indian film market but around the globe. According to a film trade analyst, the movie made its mark in Australia and New Zealand by debuting in the first spot collecting Rs.2.11 crore and Rs.39 lakhs respectively. In Germany, it came in at third spot with an opening day collection of Rs.1.3 crore.
Gadar 2 was launched on August 11 and got off to a great start, earning a staggering 40.1 crores on its first day. The film’s popularity persisted on its second day as well, earning 43.08 crores, an increase of 7.43 per cent from its first. After Jawan’s release, the movie still made 1.50 crore on Day 28, bringing its overall revenue in India to 510.59 core, according to a report from a film trade analyst website. The original cast members Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma returned to play Tara Singh, Sakeena, and Charanjeet Singh, respectively, in Gadar 2, which was directed by Anil Sharma. Gaurav Chopra, Manish Wadhwa, Manoj Bakshi, Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha, Rohit Chaudhary, and Rakesh Bedi also appeared in the movie.
Jailer which debuted in theaters on August 10 had an electrifying Day 1 haul of 48.35 crores. The Tamil version brought in 37.6 crores, the Telugu version added 10.2 crores, and the small Kannada version brought in 0.2 crores. The movie brought in 0.35 crore in the Hindi region. According to the data, the movie made a total of 398.68 crore in net revenue in India and a total of $593 crore internationally. Rajinikanth’s Jailer also had its digital debut on Prime Video on the day of Jawan’s release in theaters.
Jawan may come out to be one of the biggest movies of 2023, With Shah Rukh Khan’s acting, along with Nayantara’s elegance and screen presence the movie gets an edge over its competitors. SRK’s double role, the movie’s script, and the action in the movie are the key features that will force the public to praise the masterpiece.
