Rajkumar Rao unveiled the first look of his forthcoming flick, Srikanth

The actor plays the part of Srikanth Bolla in this Tushar Hiranandani movie.

Rajkumar Rao is preparing for his upcoming film Srikanth, and the makers published the first look poster a few days ago. This is the story of a vision-challenged industrialist who overcomes adversity. The film’s trailer will be released on April 9, whereas the film will be released on May 10, 2024.

In the first look of the Motion Poster, the character can be seen running towards the race finishing lane and touching the red ribbon. The poster also shares a glimpse of the track “Papa Kehte Hain.” While sharing the poster, the actor Rajkumar wrote, ‘A journey that will inspire you to open your eyes! ‘ Aap sabhi ka nazariya badalne aa raha hai Srikanth.

Direction 

Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, Srikanth features Jyotika, Alya F and Sharad Kelkar in significant roles. On March 30, 2024, the film’s name was announced as Srikanth, which was previously known as Sri. The first look was announced on April 5, 2024. Tushar Hiranandani is an Indian film writer and director who has directed many blockbuster films. Like masti, atithi tum kab jaoge, double dhamaal and many more. 

About Srikanth

Srikanth is a real-life story based on Srikanth Bolla, a visually impaired person who faced numerous obstacles because of his compromised vision. Some challenges wereSrikanth Bolla faced:

In 2022, Srikanth’s relatives advised his parents to abandon him. After his birth in 1991, he was unable to care for them in their old age. Peers mocked him because he was sight impaired.

Srikanth turns his disadvantage into an opportunity, and he has no turning back. He came from a rural family in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, and went on to become the first international blind student to graduate from MIT in the United States.

Academic struggle 

After enrollment, he wished to continue science in his 12th grade but was not authorised to do so, according to a 2015. Srikanth filed a petition, and after six months, he was granted permission to study science at his own risk. 

He topped his class with a 98 per cent on his XII board exams. He was then denied entrance to coaching institutes for the Indian Institute of Technology, where he hoped to study engineering because he was blind, even though Srikanth faced many more obstacles that will be featured in the film.

Meanwhile, the film is about Srikanth’s real-life struggles with his obstacles. Rajkumar Rao will play the character, and it will be released on May 10, 2024.
