After all the chaos, JEE Exam finally began

Finally, after so many debates, discussions, protests, and opposition, the JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) began on Tuesday 1st September 2020. It will help from 1-6 September. NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam) is scheduled for September 13th. The exam took place with all possible precautions.


7.78 lakh candidates downloaded admit cards for JEE Exam, and, over 12.75 lakh candidates downloaded the admit cards till 6 pm for NEET. Before entering the halls the students were provided with sanitizers and their body temperature was checked.

This year has been a roller coaster for the whole world. Coronavirus hit the world and made the world suffer a lot. The pandemic made the students think about the postponement of exams, as according to them the situation is not safe to move out and give the exam. The Supreme Court did not agree with the students and thus rejected the plea.

The NTA claims that all the necessary measures have been taken to make the exams successfully. Also, the candidates have been given the Âfirst choice of center cities.Â
Opposition ministers from Punjab (BS Sidhu), West Bengal(Moloy Ghatak), Maharashtra( Uday Ravindra Sawant), Rajasthan (Raghu Sharma), Jharkhand(Rameshwar Oraon), and Chattisgarh( Amarjeet Bhagat) on Friday approached the Supreme Court by filing a petition supporting the students.
