JP Nadda on ‘The Kerala Story’ said it exposes a ‘new type of terrorism’

On May 8th, 2023, Monday, JP Nadda, the national president of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said that ‘The Kerala Story’ exposes a ‘new type of terrorism’ that does not use ammunition. He further added that the controversial film also exposes ‘poisonous terrorism.’ On Sunday, he attended the special screening of the film in Garuda Mall, where he was also campaigning for the upcoming Assembly polls. JP Nadda became the latest leader from his party to endorse the Adah Sharma-starrer film. 

 

The chief of BJP said after attending the screening “I just got to watch The Kerala Story, we know about a new type of terrorism. We have heard bullets, bombs, and automatic weapons being used for terrorism. The movie exposes a threatening type of terrorism that is without ammunition. The film successfully exposes such ‘poisonous terrorism’ as well as the conspiracy behind it.” He further added that this kind of terrorism isn’t related to any religion or state. 

 

Earlier, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi also said that the film ‘The Kerala Story’ based on terrorism, brings out the ugly truth of terrorism and exposes the strategies used in the formation of terrorism. The recent order from Kerala high court which mentions that the court has made serious observations on the film, as well it refused the stay of the release too. On the other hand, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan made an announcement that ‘The Kerala Story’ has been made tax-free in the state. 

 

As the movie exposes the conspiracy of religious conversion, love jihad, and terrorism. Adah Sharma-starer ‘The Kerala Story’ including Yogita Bihani, Sonia Bilani, and Sidhi Idnani in the key roles. The film came into notice when in its trailer it has been mentioned that from Kerala almost 32,000 girls went missing, and later they were seen as a part of the terrorist group, ISIS. After that, the movie faced controversies regarding that, then they changed the perspective and depicted the film as a story of three women from Kerala.
