PM Modi Campaigns for Jitin Prasad in Pilibhit

PM Modi is campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Today, on Tuesday, PM Modi addressed a rally in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, and will speak at a public meeting in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh. He also plans to host a roadshow in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The Prime Minister is in Pilibhit to campaign for Jitin Prasad, the BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate. Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister, also attended the public meeting.

On Tuesday, Modi will attend an electoral rally in Madhya Pradesh’s Naxal-affected Balaghat area, his second visit to the state in three days, according to a BJP leader. The PM’s rally at Balaghat is slated to begin at around 2.30 p.m., he said.

This will be Modi’s second trip to Madhya Pradesh in three days. On Sunday, the BJP’s star campaigner attended a roadshow in Jabalpur, the Mahakoshal region’s nerve core. The first phase of the Lok Sabha election will be held on April 19 in Sidhi, Shahdol (ST), Jabalpur, Mandla (ST), Balaghat, and Chhindwara. These constituencies are scattered over the Mahakoshal and Vindhya regions.

Bharti Pardhi of the BJP, Samrat Saraswat of the Congress, and Kankar Munjare of the BSP are vying for the seat of Balaghat.In 2019, the BJP won 28 of Madhya Pradesh’s 29 Lok Sabha seats, with the exception of Chhindwara, which was retained by the Congress.
