Reshmaa Ajbani , a Digital Content Creator is already so much in love with chilling winters approaching soon, and, Christmas, is literally the icing on the top!! She visited Taj Lands End Hotel where a lot of people came together for the “Cake Mixing ceremony”.

Cake mixing is an old-age tradition where kilograms of dry fruits, nuts, grains, and spices are combined to form a mixture, which is then soaked in alcoholic blends for some days to let them soak all the flavors and aroma. The history of cake mixing says that it marked the arrival of the harvest season. A lot of fruits and nuts were picked, to go into the preparation of the traditional Christmas fruit cake.

They also used to save up the mix for the coming year in the belief that it would bring another abundant year. Honestly, she finds the whole process so much fun and therapeutic.

Reshmaa thinks everyone in their lifetime should try this beautiful experience.
