When asked about the inspiration behind curating such a beautiful place, Ankit said that the reason is personal. There was a time when BansalÂs family was looking for a luxury dining experience on a normal budget but was unable to find one. It was then that he realized the urgent need for dining places that are affordable as well as elite in experience. Imbibing Sir John Adams quote that says Âevery problem is an opportunity in disguiseÂ, Ankit took up this opportunity to establish Bansal Foods in Mathura and cater to the needs of locals as well as tourists who throng the city throughout the year, to visit its numerous temples, associated with the life of Lord Krishna.

In a conversation with him regarding his experience in this field, Ankit said, ÂI belong to a business family which was not really familiar with the term hospitality. So stepping into this field has been a bit intimidating as well as a thrilling experience for me.. He says that he enjoys serving the most basic needs of people, i.e., enjoying food, and will continue the same.

He is soon planning to expand his business to other parts of the country so that people living elsewhere in the country are also able to experience luxury dining that is easy on their pockets. Though, the current pandemic forced him to go slow with this business, now Bansal Foods is all set to open three new outlets outside Mathura city.

Bansal foods has won accolades from many firms and celebrities. The restaurant was adjudged the ÂBest Restaurant in Mathura for 3 consecutive years by The Times of India Group, Agra. AnkitÂs efforts have also been felicitated by celebrities like Dia Mirza, Raveena Tandon, Shekhar Suman, Pooja Bedi, Kiran Kher, and many more.
