Here’s how singer Anjana Padmanabhan bought a smile on the faces of all the cancer patients by singing their favourite melody

Singer Anjana Padmanabhan who is known for her melodious voice is the first contestant who bagged the trophy of Indian Idol junior! The singer who was merely 10 back then auditioned for the singing reality show when the show’s team went through different schools in Bangalore and that’s how they spotted the little nightingale.

But did you know? The singer also has a philanthropic side to her personality. She sang for many cancer patients and gained their blessings by bringing a smile to their faces. Talking about the same, the singer shares “I have had the opportunity to do 4 different things. One was to sing for cancer patients in Banglore. It was so special to see the happiness on their face. I wanted to give them that experience so did that free of cost. Then I got an opportunity to record an album with Ricky Kej sir. We also did a concert in 2020 November. And I also sang a song about building toilets in Karnataka for girls’ children. Because in many rural schools there are no toilets. So we did a song and whatever fund we raised dedicated to building toilet and I also got the opportunity to sing in front of the Indian army a couple of times and it was a complete goosebump moment for me”

She also wishes to bring in a positive change through her talent. The former Indian Idol junior winner says “Music is something that runs through everyone’s nerves. So with music, I am trying to spread happiness. Music is something through which you can do good to the people. Not everything is about you and yourself but it is also about the emotions of people and what people feel. Your music is what connects you with everyone” she signed off.
