Rankpedia is a movement. A revolutionary perspective of bridging the digital divide that has crept up in the Indian education ecosystem with the EdTech boom. Rankpedia is a calling to reach out to all students in the country and across the world to provide education with world-class quality standards. It is nestled in the hands of passionate educators who have the same vision as Rankpedia. It started with a simple thought of ‘Why can’t world-class education be affordable?’. This thought embedded a seed in our mind and gave us a vision of providing education to children at an affordable price without compromising on the quality and the diversity that they deserve. We have walked on a path to deliver world-class education by integrating pedagogy and the latest technological advancements to offer the best opportunities to students.

The Managing Director and the spirit of Rankpedia, Mr. Ravi Kumar, had the vision and a passion to bring this movement into action that had the potential to make a change. Having seen both sides of the education ecosystem of the country where kids in rural areas did not have the access to basic education at affordable prices and on the other side, kids in urbanized cities having the luxury of quality education and good schools, somewhat gave him the nudge to create the change that Rankpedia focuses on i.e., Sustainability, Affordability and Reach of education to every kid of the country. Building Rankpedia on the right pillars to support this entire idea and process, he brought in three core members who would drive his vision into the actual reality of improving education availability and quality in different verticals.

Dr. Madhukar Angur, having been a seasoned educator and professor with over 40 years of experience was nominated twice for the Carnegie Foundation Professor of the Year Award. In 1997, he was recognized by the Michigan Association of University Governing Boards as a Distinguished Michigan Professor. Dr. Angur holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas, Arlington, USA; (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India. He is on our advisory board to help shape out the ethos of the organization. In a new movement like ours, there are times when we need someone to show us the path and Dr. Madhukar has been the person we turn to when we need guidance.  Dr. Angur is the recipient of the David M. French Distinguished ProfessorshipÂA Lifetime Achievement Award from the University of Michigan.

Mr. A.V. Srinivas with over 20 years of experience in the I.T./ Education Industry has been the core of the organization in driving the healthy work culture at Rankpedia, looking at the overall day-to-day output to align with the goals of the company and optimize the productivity to the maximum peaks. He connects the departments within the organization to keep the brainstorming culture flowing right through the workspace. He genuinely believes in the power that educators hold and has been instrumental in making sure that the organization understands, respects the teachers and the work they do.

Mr. Karandeep Singh, The Chief Academic Officer at Rankpedia, after completing his Masters from Oxford University, PGDM from Harvard University and DELTA from Cambridge University, holds over 20 years of leadership experience in the K-12 and EdTech sector, and has been given the title of ÂThe Architect of RankpediaÂ. He has had a stronghold on shaping the pedagogy of Rankpedia and has also defined the experiential mode of education which creates a strong practical-based outcome assessment model. Coming from a Sound Engineering and Post-Production background, he has been able to bridge education and production in the EdTech industry to cater to the creativity and innovation for both verticals. The industry has respected his work by awarding him with ÂEntrepreneur of the Year for two consecutive years. Having been featured in Forbes and Fortune Magazine has given him a stronghold in the Innovative Education Sector.

Being an organization with a futuristic vision, Rankpedia aligns with the National Education Policy that was rolled out in 2020 i.e., NEP enabled EdTech. At the same time, Rankpedia is expanding into verticals like E-schooling, where they would be working with renowned boards like The Cambridge IGCSE Board, Discovery Education, and American High Schools. We started with a small idea that turned into a movement and has taken shape as a tangible reality that is only going to expand and revolutionize the education culture in the country.
