Bikaner, July 2024: As a means to further enhance the healthcare infrastructure and system of Rajasthan, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, inaugurated the Sant Shri Dularam Kularia Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) in the Moolwas village of Nokha Block of Bikaner, Rajasthan, on Sunday, 28th July.
The handover of the Sant Shri Dularam Kularia Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) to the state government was motivated by the aim of helping the community and fostering a sense of welfare. The healthcare center is built by Mr. Narsi Kularia, Managing Director of Narsi Interior Infrastructures Pvt Ltd Mumbai, and Mr. Jagdish Kularia, Director of Narsi Interior Infrastructure Pvt Ltd Mumbai. The PHC is built in memory of Mr. Narsi Kularia’s father and Mr. Jagdish Kularia’s grandfather, Sant Shri Dularam Kularia. In addition, the CSR initiative by Mr. Narsi Kularia, laid the founding bricks of this healthcare center in 2020 with the objective to promote better healthcare and wellness in Seelwa.
The special inauguration ceremony welcomed the esteemed presence of dignitaries such as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan- Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Law Minister- Arjun Meghwal, Union Tourism and Culture Minister- Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, State Health Minister- Gajendra Singh Khimsar, and Food Supply Minister- Sumit Godara. Their applause echoed throughout the procession of the event and was a witness to the noble cause behind the setting up of this healthcare center.
Spanning over 12100 square yards and constructed with a budget of Rs. 15 Crores, the PHC is home to state-of-the-art technology. Moreover, it is equipped with high-tech medical facilities such as a fine operation theatre, 24-hour pharmacy, an OPD for immediate first-aid, CBC facilities, and advanced X-ray machines. Besides this, the PHC offers 14 beds for women and 8 for men. Lastly, one of the most notable features of this healthcare center is its 50,000-litre rainwater harvesting tank, set up with sustainable development as its flag-bearer.
Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, thanked the Narsi family in his native language of Marwari, and said, “I thank the Kularia family for investing the money in the right place and repaying the debt of the motherland. In addition to the healthcare center, the Narsi family also designed the interior of the New Parliament Building and Bharat Mandapam. The Kularia family invests its earnings in social welfare without any hesitation.”
Furthermore, praising Mr. Narsi Kularia, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, said, “Service is considered the ultimate religion here. We imbibe the principle of ‘Nar Seva Hi Narayan Seva’. We work with the feeling that if you serve a man, it will be equal to serving the Hindu god Narayan. The government will also give full support in such pious works.” The Chief Minister has also promised to upgrade this Primary Healthcare Center into a Community Healthcare Center.
During the progression of the event, Mr. Narsi Kularia said that thousands of people from the surrounding villages of Charkra, Seelwa, Dawa, Tant, Kedli, Badhda, and more, will be able to benefit from this healthcare center.
