Six kids die when a school bus in Haryana overturns; the driver is apparently intoxicated.
Over 20 people were injured and six children lost their lives when a school bus in Narnaul, Haryana, capsized on Thursday morning. Even though Eid-ul-Fitr was a holiday, the school was open. The bus was from GL Public School, which was close to Kanina’s Unhani Village.
According to early accounts, one of the injured students claimed that the driver maintained a speed of 120 kmph, which caused an unbalance. The bus collided because the inebriated driver maintained a speed of 120 kmph.
The district administrator reports that two injured pupils were transferred to Rohtak Hospital in serious condition, and 13 injured children were brought to the local hospital. According to the district education officer, the driver seemed to have lost control and slammed the bus into the tree following an initial investigation. He continued by saying that their research revealed the driver was intoxicated, which was confirmed by a medical examination.
