Mbappé dramatically returns to PSG, Real Madrid isn’t interested anymore

Carlo Ancelotti & Kylian Mbappe

One of the most anticipated transfers of the season surely revolved around PSG Forward and France National Team Captain Kylian Mbappé and his prolonged decision to finally enter the Real Madrid squad. The 24-year-old footballer’s move to Real Madrid was so predictable that no one was doubting his intentions to join the club at the end of his contract with Paris Saint Germain. There were duologues, discussions and even fake news of him finally coming to terms with the Greatest club of European football but his recent U-turn to PSG was a bolt from the blue, leaving fans unhinged and astounded.

What about Real Madrid?

The La Liga team is reportedly not too concerned by the unexpected change of events. According to an article, the club is prepared to intervene if necessary and feels that anything can change from day to day. According to the news, Mbappe will extend his contract with a release clause for the following year. He won’t be accessible for free either. But Real Madrid won’t approach PSG about a transfer if he signs a long-term contract.

Robert Pires, a legendary member of the Arsenal team, has urged Kylian Mbappe to join Real Madrid this summer after Paris Saint-Germain decided to sell him.

According to reports, Pires stated, “For him, the best decision is to go to Madrid because the situation with PSG is currently very difficult and there are many issues between the two parties—Mbappe’s family and the club.”

He continued, “I hope for him because he’s one of the finest players in the world and because I know PSG doesn’t want to lose a lot of money, that he finds a decent solution. The problem is really complex, and when we talk about the player, finding a good solution is what is most crucial. For him, if he can now, travel to Madrid.”

Even after facing an exile from the PSG’s first squad, Kylian was said to be in talks with the management to extend his contract at Parc de princes. The superstar is now into the last 11 months of his contract and has no intention of leaving the Ligue 1 champions any time soon. Apart from Real Madrid, with whom he has been long linked, the Frenchman also had potential offers from Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea– marking his interests in triumphing in the Premier League. Nonetheless, he has made a decision to stay at Parc de Princes. An utter and prior decision that he took as soon as his ex-teammate Neymar Jr. disclosed his possible move to Al Hilal on Monday. Blatantly, it all sounds a little hesitant or maybe it was just time running its course.
