Shree Upadhyaya was predominantly known as a model and an artiste, being a popular face in ads of popular brands of FMCG like MDH, Godrej, NHS, ITC Malabar ID Parota,HDFC among many other. However around the time of pandemic, her brainchild Mystique, a self healing modality of lightwork (white light meditations) took the country by storm.
During the era of pandemic, no one could visit mental health or other healthcare practitioners personally for their needs. That’s when Mystique took over as a self help, self healing modality where each client could just plug in their headphones or speakers with Mystique meditations and heal their issues by themselves. She got awarded Dignity Excellence Award by Aarohan NGO for her efforts towards humanity.
Shree with a dual degree of literature and psychology (City University London) along with being a trained professional theatre artiste (Musical theatre, Citylit, UK) and a certified professional dancer in contemporary jazz (PDSP, Big dance) decided to create modules of dramatherapy and movement therapy of Mystique.
Hence, her clients other than doing meditations and lightwork regularly were introduced to the magic of catharsis and empowering self development techniques of Dramatherapy and 8 chakra light choreography of movement therapy, derived from yogic postures, contemporary jazz, Tai chi and several other asanas
This frontier of energy medicine also dabbles in journal therapy in different formats of manifestations, gratitude along with many other techniques and has a merchandise of positive slogan t-shirts and sweatshirts alongside. Not only are her lightwork tools built for digital use so it can cater to an audience worldwide through platforms online, but she has also started traveling to different cities and spreading the light of Mystique.
She also runs Sahayta initiative where she has collaborated with other talented healthcare practitioners for faster recovery of each client along with Seva initiative where some tools are given for free each day to people in need or emergency.
On the entertainment front, her youtube channel showcasing her acting, advertising and Anchoring work has crossed more than 11 million viewership and her commercial of MDH is now the most broadcasted ad on television from the company. She has also ventured in cameos of movies and web series like Rocket Gang (Zee 5) and Suniel Shetty’s Hunter (Amazon) along with yet to be released international project of Netflix.
She believes in doing sensible dignified work to create a balanced approach between her 4 year old startup of energy medicine Mystique and her work in the entertainment industry where she has completed 205 projects.
