On April 6th, 2023, Thursday, JP Nadda, Bharatiya Janata Party’s national president raised the party flag in the national capital at the party’s headquarters on the occasion of the 44th Foundation Day of BJP. The BJP party has planned a week-long campaign for social peace and harmony from 6th April to 14th April, which is generally known as the birth anniversary of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar. JP Nadda has also written a letter to the presidents and party leaders of the states to be a part of social harmony week. 

 

Apart from issuing the letter, JP Nadda has also discussed the outline of the programs that will be running during this period with all the state presidents via video conferencing. “BJP is working towards the welfare of the whole nation but is a political party. Also, the party has made groundbreaking achievements, under the leadership of PM Modi. “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat ” was our inspiration, said Nadda. He also extended his greetings to the workers of the party and saluted them for their selfless services, love, and  sacrifice which created the way for BJP in becoming the “world’s biggest party.” 

 

The BJP from its official Twitter handle wrote that the party is dedicated to the nation’s building, committed to public service, and is a true carrier of India’s democracy. On April 6th, 1980, the Bharatiya Janata Party was founded by Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Earlier its name was Jana Sang which merged with the Janata Party in the year 1977. BJP’s plan to celebrate the 44th anniversary of its existence, President Nadda himself will go to the booth and do wall writing work. 

 

The address of PM Narendra Modi that the party workers were asked by the BJP through the letter that it should be ensured that the PM’s message will be heard by the gathering in the district, division, state, booth level offices. The party has instructed that BJP workers should organise some discussions and seminars on the history of the party and the achievements of the central government after the PM’s speech till the 14th of April. Also, on the party’s foundation day, instructions were given to invite and felicitate the workers from Jana Sang’s days. All the fronts of the BJP will run different campaigns during social harmony week.
