The controversial Delhi service bill is likely to be introduced in Lok Sabha this week before being taken to Rajya Sabha, where the opposition is in a better position to oppose the law. In May 2023, the President promulgated the ordinance on the recommendation of the Union Cabinet when the parliament was not in session. It is important for the parliament to adopt a law to replace the ordinance within six weeks of the start of the next session. All the transfers and postings of top officials of Delhi government were under the control of the Lieutenant Governor. On 11 May, the Supreme Court passed the order where they empowered the State Government to control Group A services. On 19 May, the President passed an ordinance authorising the Lieutenant Governor to make appointments of the Senior Executive Officials in Delhi. 

Monsoon session is already in controversy due to the debate over Manipur violence and ‘No confidence’ motion. Last week Congress MP Gaurav Gagoi introduced the ‘No confidence’ motion in the lower house which was accepted by the speaker last Wednesday.

AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi moved a notice on Monday in the Parliament saying that this bill violates the essence of federalism, which is the part of the basic structure of the Constitution. The Aam Aadmi Party issued a whip to all its Upper House members to be present in the Rajya Sabha from 31 July to 4 August. Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadda stated that, “the ordinance is against the constitutional framework which is undemocratic and hurts the sentiments of 2 crore citizens of Delhi.” 

Senior BJP leader and the Minister of Parliamentary affairs, Coal and Mines of India Prahlad Joshi informed the media, “that Delhi Services bill is not mentioned in the list of businesses today. When we will introduce the bill we will inform you.” Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal also said, “We have been asking about their (opposition) demands on discussion from the first day of sessions. They want to discuss Manipur. We are ready, but they changed their issue to No confidence motion and want the Prime Minister to speak on the issue. We are ready for every discussion on every issue whenever the speaker decides.”

The BJP led NDA (National Democratic Alliance) have a clear majority in the lok sabha, that’s why they will introduce the bill in the lower house first. In Rajya Sabha they need the support of friendly parties like YSR Congress and BJD (Biju Janata Dal). YSR chief and Andhra’s CM  Jagan Mohan Reddy has already announced his support in the favour of BJP, both YSR and BJD have 9 MPs in Rajya Sabha that’s why their support is very critical for NDA. BJP just needs the support of 12 MPs to pass the resolution.

PM Modi starts his 2-day visit to Rajasthan and Gujarat on 27 July. On his visit to Rajasthan Prime Minister Modi reached Sikar at exactly 11 Am and left around 1 Pm. After a lot of back and forth, it is official that the much-anticipated Travis Scott’s Utopia concert that was supposed to happen at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt has been cancelled, promoter Live Nation Middle East gave the confirmation on Wednesday. “We regret to inform you that the UTOPIA show, originally scheduled for July 28th at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, stands cancelled,” the concert promoter expressed in an announcement on social media. “Unfortunately, even after our highest efforts, complex production issues meant that the show could not be constructed in the desert. We understand that this news is disappointing and not the outcome any of us desired.” The notification further declared that all ticket holders will receive refunds.  

The cancellation of the concert was officially attributed to “complex production issues”, yet several sources point to the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate revoking the concert’s permit. This was purportedly due to the concert being incompatible with Egypt’s cultural identity. After an evaluation of public sentiment on social media and perusal of reports, which included verified photos and information of unusual rituals performed by Scott during his performance, the Syndicate declared that these rituals contradicted the deeply ingrained societal norms and customs of Egypt. The specific rituals that triggered the outrage were not clarified.

Whistleblower David Grusch claimed in court on Wednesday that the US has been in possession of non-human figurines for quite some time now. It has been brought to the world’s attention by the ex-intelligence officer that a “multi-decade” program that gathered and tried to reverse engineer, stricken UFOs was set up by the government, he told in a hearing. 

David Grusch, an ex-US official who was incharge of unexplained anomalous phenomenon (UAP), within a US Department Defense academy until 2023, informed the House Oversight Committee in session. 

The hearing generated a great deal of conjecture and assertions that the US is hiding proof of extraterrestrial life and technology, along with a great deal of doubt.

In 2022, Grusch made a whistleblower report. He said that as part of his duties for the government, he had been tasked with examining what the military, defence, and other agencies knew about extraterrestrials and their ship, but claimed that he had been denied access to top-secret UFO programs.

Speaking on Wednesday, Grusch claimed that his accusations had led to “very brutal” punishment. Grusch admitted during questioning that he knew of “people who have been harmed or injured” as a result of government efforts to keep UFO information secret. When asked by a member of the oversight committee if he had ever “feared for his life,” Grusch answered, “Yes, absolutely. I am hopeful that my actions will ultimately result in a positive outcome of increased transparency,” Grusch continued.

In interviews with some sources, Grusch claimed that the federal government was concealing to Congress this proof of alien craft. This claim ignited a controversy in June and prompted the Republican-led oversight committee to immediately initiate an investigation. By doing this, he follows through the major rebranding of the brand. Doge Designers launched the new logo by sharing a video with “sexy,” written in its caption on Twitter. Musk, the ambiguous CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter once again surprised the cybernauts with his mysterious move and claimed that this logo will evolve with time. The new logo is a combination of white lines X with the backdrop of pitch black. Just after the launch, the logo starts reflecting on the web and mobile versions of the microblogging site.

X logo goes live later on 24 July. The business name of Twitter was already changed to X crop in October 2022.

After reading many reviews and watching the movie more than once, critics have declared this feature to be the most important film of the century. Thus, making people believe how Oppenheimer moment has changed the world for us, forever.  

The main quarrel that personally hit Nolan’s fans was the implications that Christopher had announced Lewis Strauss (Robert Downey Jr.) to be the main antagonist, yet the unheralded adversary of the movie was Oppenheimer himself. He grappled with what the course of his life, he was devastated with it yet exclaimed how his invention of the atomic bomb was not on time to defeat the Nazi Germany portraying himself as an active anti-fascist.
