This is what makes them unique – they create everything in front of the audience. Although it is called a play, it’s very serious business and we should learn from actors! I once met an actor in Los Angeles who was born and brought up in India but has been living there for several years now so he could study acting at one of the best schools in town!

Romeo Yanger is an actor well known for his very convincing portrayals of a wide range of characters in plays and commercials and has also been featured in short films. He likes to say that acting is like sitting on a roller coaster ride of emotions, and he tries to adjust the intensity of his performances accordingly, whether he’s playing someone who is very happy, such as in a comedy or jovial scene, or when he’s portraying more somber emotions. Romeo is particularly proud of his passionate performances that he is able to pull off in his plays and believes that it will look more realistic in cinemas.

From August 9, fully vaccinated Americans and permanent residents will be allowed to enter Canada for non-essential travel if they finish their vaccines at least 14 days before visiting.

Those of you who tested positive for Covid-19 in the past and plan to fly from India to Canada must now produce documentation of a coronavirus positive test performed 14 to 90 days before departure. Travelers may also be required to seek entrance into a third nation and stay there for at least 14 days. In addition to putting Indian passengers in a 14-day quarantine, several countries may refuse to let them in if they have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past. There’s also the possibility that they’ll be sent back to where they started.

Rachna Shah is an Indian studying at a prestigious university in Canada. She visited India to meet her family members who live in India currently but for a few days, she got to know that Canada has banned direct flights from India. She had to go to Canada for some urgent work related to her University so she decided to travel to Canada via a third country route. She chose to go to Canada via the Maldives but that didn’t prove to be a good decision for her as she was asked to stay in quarantine for 14 days before allowing her to travel further to Canada.

“I was left with no other option and it was urgent so my family asked me to go via an indirect route but that backfired badly”, she said. “When I reached there, instead of going to Canada, I spent 14 days in quarantine and it was really annoying and depressing at the same time. My family was so worried about me but there was nothing we could do”

Additionally, not all major airlines in these ‘third countries’ offer Covid-19 testing, so travelers may need to go elsewhere once they arrive. The revised COVID-19 restrictions enforced by Canadian authorities have contributed to the already-existing difficulties faced by Indian passengers seeking to visit the nation for professional, educational, professional, or other purposes. Some nations may place you in quarantine for a minimum of 14 days following their arrival. This might even cause you to miss your deadlines and increase your costs.

Being a graduate from IIMB, Smruti has garnered in-depth understanding of HTML5, LMS, L&D, eLearning authoring tools (Storyline, Captivate, Lectora ), the Adobe Suite, front-end web development (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript), and xAPI. Entering the field of L&D was a choice of her destiny. With success in the field seeping up to her, she gained enough confidence to begin freelancing projects that allowed her to explore her preferred area while also allowing her to achieve financial independence. Smruti has a lot of professional experience before she graduated from the Global Academy of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Accrediting her expertise in the field, she is the recipient for The Brandon Hall Award for the best certification programme, Excellence in Digital Transformation, was bagged by the 26-year-old L&D Specialist by GTF India. She also made history by becoming the first Indian speaker at the eLearning Success Summit 2.0. She’ll also be one of the first Indians to speak at “The Learning Ideas Conference 2021,” as well as collaborate on numerous podcasts with various Learning Industry Experts.

When she first offered data-driven solutions, the L&D business was quite strict in terms of using data, therefore her success did not appear to be easy. The sector had inflexible procedures such as solely using video-based learning or having a five-day instructor-led course that did little to help people retain what they had learned. She emphasizes that through all these methods, collecting, integrating, and analysing data, learning analytics provides opportunities for further examination of how observations from the laboratory translate to the classroom.

Smruti assisted a Multinational Corporation in developing e-Learning modules for customer service representatives. Following that, she collaborated with US clients to develop a number of learning programmes based on novel learning methodologies. Her most cherished experience was developing courses for personality-disabled employees and workers with an Australian NGO.

Being a thought leader she implemented data-driven methods in notable companies and encourages everyone to be self-directed learners who take advantage of technology. She develops customised solutions so that corporate learners can design their own learning paths. “Continuous learning” was the influence it had on the organisation.

Sharing her insights on the matter, Smruti says, “Artificial Intelligence is redefining the way students learn. A variety of digital classroom tools are changing the teaching dynamics for teachers. In the data-driven classroom, collecting and analyzing a student’s work  are part of how schools report and track performance. Digital curriculums are changing the way teachers and the learning process work. Some digital courses use big data predictive analytics to determine what a student is mastering or not mastering which is actually a huge step in the right direction.”

AI should be used to conduct evaluations in the most accurate and efficient manner possible, as well as to evaluate the results. To begin, educational institutions should try to unlock the value hidden in massive amounts of data. Smruti realizes how drastically data is taking over the education system and fortunately, it is proving to be an effective aspect in determining learner’s behavior as well helping to fortify the process along the way.
