Donovan Wodehouse, the actor who essayed the role of a Kashmiri terrorist in Pradip Sarkar’s superhit music video “Piya Basanti Re” has signed on the dotted lines for the next feature film of Abhijit Adhya, which is slated to be a suspense thriller, tentatively titled “That Night”. Donovan was recently seen as a lead antagonist in “Operation Cobra”, which was telecasted in Eros Now OTT platform.“Donovan will be seen in a completely different avatar, something which his fans definitely have not seen him in” said Asokan PK, Project Designer.

“That Night” is a psychological suspense thriller, which can happen to anyone. “It will not be a good idea to reveal much about the film, else the suspense element may become diluted,” says Abhijit “however the entire film revolves around a blank call. Since the lead protagonist is a female and a female friend of her plays a pivotal character, we are looking for the right actresses, including new faces in the screen age group of 19 to 24.” opined Abhijit Adhya.

“We are looking to shoot somewhere in Himachal or Uttarakhand, though we have not zeroed in on the dates yet, due to lockdown in various parts.” said Alok Masih, Executive Producer of the film.“We also have Anant Singh as the cinematographer, who has innumerable Advertisement films to his credit.

Abhijit Adhya is an internationally famed award-winning director and is currently co-producing “Gvantsa” a Spanish feature film that is currently being shot in Venezuela and directed by Edsel Sierralta. Pankaj Jhaa is an upcoming Indian actor, singer, and voice artist known to be working in web series, short films, and Bollywood films. He rose to prominence in 2021, with Sony Liv’s Maharani, starring alongside popular names like Huma Qureshi, Amit Sial, and Sohum Shah under the direction of Karan Sharma.

Originally hailing from Bihar, Pankaj has always had a passion for theatre, polishing his skills since 1998. Pramod Singh Jadaun, a well-known social worker, a human rights supporter and a youth leader of the Samajwadi Party, is serving the society through his social work and humanitarian approach. A hardworking person and a renowned social activist, he is gaining social appreciation for persistently working towards the upliftment of the downtrodden and weaker sections of society.

Hailing from Tendawa Basantapur, a small village in Bahraich, the birthplace of Harshik Balark, Maharaja Suheldev and Gautam Budh, Pramod’s inclination towards social work has been since childhood. After completing his elementary education from the home district itself, he graduated from Kisan Degree College, Bahraich in the year 2005. During his studies, he founded an NGO named Poornima Mahila and Child Welfare Service Sansthan in 2003 to help the needy. Being an active social worker, he was always involved in bringing a transformation in society and in the lives of those who lack basic necessities of life.

The virtuoso has been appreciated and recognized by some of the prominent figures and was included in the list of respected citizens of the district by the District Magistrate, Bahraich. Apart from this, he was nominated as District Prison Visitor in 2017. At present, he is working towards organising Chaupals in the village to redress the problems of the people.

Apart from this, at present, people are being made aware about environmental protection during the epidemic and plantation campaigns are being organized at various places, besides ration etc. to the people suffering from severe fire in summer.

Base Guns’ latest release Banjaare is a journey of indie and electronic music.

Base Guns is a duo project which consists of AshutoshWankhede and SumitThakare. They are Music Producers & DJs. Their sound is characterized by the Fusion of EDM genres. Their latest release Banjaare is dedicated especially to the Traveller’s, which starts with classical indie music using instruments like Harmonium, Sitar, Santoor, Tabla, Ghatam and makes a way to an electronic drop. This composition is mesmerizing to the listener’s ear. The second half of the track opens up with guitars which blend with drums and bring you to the electronic drop. With a hint of experimental elements, ‘Banjaare’ is unlike any other track heard in the indie music genre. Such simple yet intricate production of Base Guns shines throughout the duration of the track.

Banjaare’s first draft was recorded in Mumbai in 2017. Base Guns made changes to the first draft and changed the musical arrangement itself. It was recorded again 2 years later. This track took almost 3 years to complete and is worth listening to.

Base Guns are one of the renowned artists in India. Their unique sound brings fresh vibes and stands out in the chart. Ashutosh is also an Advocate(Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench) and Sumit is working in an MNC as a Manager. To follow their passion for Music they stumbled upon EDM music for the first time in the shacks of Goa. The duo got addicted to the beats and started mixing around with Virtual Dj. The journey began when they started their mixes and mashups. Base Guns’ musical arrangements while composing music is the element that shines out. They are well known for the pumping Bass in their music. They are Music Producer, composers, and sound designers. The artist recordings and music compositions are done at the Base Guns Studios. They have performed at some of the most prestigious Institutions of this country like IIT Kharagpur, IIT Patna, IIM Raipur, IIT Mandi, ICT Mumbai to name a few before the pandemic.
