New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the country’s first-ever fully automated driverless metro train on Monday. The new service is being inaugurated on the 37 KM stretch of Delhi Metro’s Magenta Line ( Janakpuri West- Botanical Garden) along with it, the National Common Mobility Card( NCMC) dubbed as ‘one nation one card’ will also be inaugurated for operations primarily on the Airport Express Line. This will allow passengers carrying a RuPay -debit card issued in the last 18 months by 23 banks to swipe these for Metro travel. Passengers from any part of the country will now be able to travel on the Airport Express line using this card. The same facility will available on the entire metro network by 2022. 

With the commencement of these newly equipped trains, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will enter the elite league of “seven percent of world’s metro network that can operate without drivers”. They plan to operate similar services on another major corridor as well. The 57 KM long Pink Line Metro will operate driverless from mid-2021. This would increase the driverless network of the Delhi Metro to around 94kms, which is nearly 9% of Delhi Metro’s total network.

DMRC officials explained that the driverless train technology has pre-set standards for automation called ‘Grades of Automation’ (GoA). In GoA 1, trains are run by one driver and, in GoA 2 and GoA 3, the role of the driver is reduced to operating doors and taking over in case of emergencies (the starting and halting of trains are automated). Finally, in the GoA 4, trains are set on a completely unattended operations mode. Beginning today, the Magenta line between Janakpuri West and Botanical Garden will adopt GoA 3 for the services.

Keeping in mind the current pandemic and maintaining the social distancing the inauguration will be held through video conferencing and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give the green signal to the train virtually today at 11:00 AM.

With lots of hard work, efforts, and consistency in quality, Dnyanesh Dongare has become one of the most preferred photographers in India. His journey commenced in 2014 with a camera that he received as a gift from his dad, and It all began with the love to capture the beauty of the world around him. He spent a few months in experimentations and gradually started receiving photography assignments. “I still start every session with the same excitement as if it is my first project,” says Dnyanesh, who has completed tons of photography projects in various categories like maternity photography, babies, newborn, fashion, pre-weddings, advertisements, products, and celebrities. Even though he has always avoided the limelight, he has still managed to taste all the success.

Hailing from Pune, he runs a firm named ‘Maxraj Photography’ known for its special maternity and newborn photoshoot sessions. Today he is ranked among the top photographers in India, but It was not easy for him. It took him months and years of practice before anybody believed in his capability. There were times when he hardly had any assignments, but what kept him going was the patience and desire to create beautiful photos.

Speaking about the motivation behind his work, he says, “My job keeps me engaged and excited in a way which gives me a push to try and optimize the photos to its best version. I am happy that people like my style of photography.”

He picks newborn and maternity photography to be his favorites, and acknowledges preferring giving more dates for these categories over others. He says, “what can be more joyful for a photographer than chronicling happy moments of to-be mothers and newborns?” During his photography sessions, he believes in giving a little more attention towards creating an atmosphere that brings out real emotions of people, which in turn helps him in creating timeless photographs.

The ongoing pandemic has affected millions of businesses. It is no different story for Dnyanesh, who has seen a decline in the number of projects but has yet managed to make the most out of it. “I hardly use to get any time to be socially active, but this pandemic scenario has given me ample time to connect with people on social media,” he says.

Being known for his ultimate talent in photography, he is also admired for helping the animals in need. “I try to contribute my bit for strays. It is painful to see them suffer on the streets,” he says with a request to others to step in to improve animal lives in whichever possible manner.

Talking about his journey and future plans, he says, “It has been an amazing journey so far, and I shall continue clicking photographs in a bid to create a perfect photograph. Yes, I am aware that there is nothing called a perfect photograph, but I shall still happily carry on my search for one.”

Youth philanthropist Shreyash Kumar gets one of the most prestigious honors “HUMANITARIAN EXCELLENCE AWARD 2020” organized by Human Rights and Social Justice affiliated by Niti Aayog (Govt. of India) for the extraordinary contributions in the field of social services served by him nationwide.

Shreyash Kumar is one the youngest who has received this honor from Shri Jibesh Kumar, Cabinet Minister, Bihar. Jibesh Kumar and other dignitaries present there also applauded Shreyash’s contributions towards society and encouraged him to do countless work for the betterment of mankind and nature.

Shreyash Kumar is the national Executive Chairman of Divine Magnitude Organization, a social activist group.
