His beliefs in the field of women hygiene are exceptional. His plan is to raise as much as awareness towards the importance of menstrual hygiene and the urgent need to intercept taboos associated with menstruation. Being the Director of Shudh Plus hygiene products Pvt. Ltd. He have also managed many different organizations covering construction, infrastructure and real estates.

Talking about his success he had also started from Zero. Started from being a small supplier of paan masala accompanying his father, whom he also name as his Inspiration. Many persons tried demoralizing him from his chosen path but he still continued believing in his own strength.

“The silence and stereotypes that surround menstruation in India is a consequence of years of cultural conditioning and this move is a step towards normalising a conversation about what is a biological process. More importantly, this brings the conversation out in a space largely inhabited by men,” added Sharat Khemka.

His Life goals is to grant equal hygiene rights to everyone besides their financial status and to have his personal care range also ripples India’s hygiene Industry. Besides his life goals he also have some hobbies. He love to collect premium cars and watches. His car collection also include FERRARI with many other exorbitant Cars. Also being a Fan of Cricket clearly impelled him towards sponsoring teams in IPL as well.

Back in 2016,Nine’s Parent Company, SHUDH PLUS had tied up with “Gujarat Lions” in a front title sponsorship. And then again in 2020 Nine sponsored ‘Rajasthan Royals’.

The ‘Run4Niine’ Initiative is a prime example, where Bollywood star and India’s ‘Pad Man’ Akshay Kumar joined forces with Niine to organise a large scale event in the form of a marathon to get Indians to come out and raise awareness about menstrual hygiene. Another ground breaking campaign to break the shame was when a pad was printed on the New Zealand cricket ground for T-20 match series.

Hence, Rajasthan Royals, who believes in spearheading the change by working with empowered women to further educate the society, was the perfect fit for Niine. It is a true exemplification of the synergy between the two brands and the belief and vision carried out by them.

Adorned on the back of the Royal’s purple jerseys will be the name Niine, making it the first time any Indian sports team has been sponsored by a sanitary napkin brand. Colour Purple represents the mixing of gender normative colours pink (cis-gender femininity) and blue (cis-gender masculinity), further emphasizing a perfect balance between the two genders and shunning the menstrual stigma which has been an entrenched cause of gender inequality. This unique collaboration has already caused ripples across India.

Kisan Federation calls For Bharat Bandh on December 8

The India Saga Saga |

New Delhi: All India Kisan Federation has called for a nationwide shutdown on December 8, Tuesday against three new farm laws passed by the Centre. Hundreds of farmers continue to protest on Delhi borders after the fifth round of talks with the Center failed to break the deadlock. The farmers claim that the new farm laws will end the minimum support price system (MSP) in the future and will give corporates total control over the agriculture sector. The protest has gained support from opposition parties and various celebrities from the entertainment and sports industry.

When does the protest start

Bhartiya Kisan Union spokesperson Rakesh Tikait said that the protest will be peaceful and does not intend to cause trouble to the common man. The symbolic protest will start at 11:00 AM so that everyone can reach their offices and will end at 3:00 pm. The spokesperson has also urged people to extend their support non-violently. Emergency services like ambulance and fire will not be disturbed due to the protest.

What all is closed in the capital

Delhiites may face some trouble in accessing taxi and auto services as several unions have decided to support the protest by shutting their service while other unions have said that they sympathize with farmers but can’t shut their last-mile vehicle services because they have already been hit severely due to lockdown earlier this year.

Several bank unions have also decided to express their support to the farmers through black-band protests. Thus bank services are less likely to affect.

There will be a shortage in the supply of fruits and vegetables in the capital because most of the traders are supporting the protest. Hence, mandis at Ghazipur, Okhla, and Narela will be severely impacted.

States affected due to the protest

Apart from Delhi, the impact of Bharat Bandh will be well observed in Punjab. States like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, West Bengal, Telangana, and Northeastern states of Tripura and Assam have also extended their support to the farmers. Traffic congestion is expected in these states, and the government is likely to issue a travel advisory.

What centre is doing

The centre has issued an advisory to all states and union territories to tighten their security while highlighting that peace and tranquility must be maintained throughout the country. Meanwhile, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah has asked all the states and UT’s to ensure social distancing and other preventive measures taken concerning the prevailing Covid situation.

The India Saga Saga |

December 4 is celebrated as the Indian Navy Day every year and this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm greetings to all the navy personnel and their families while extolling them for protecting our coasts and keeping us safe. The theme for Navy Day 2020 is “Indian Navy Combat Ready, Credible & Cohesive”.

“Navy Day greetings to all our valorous navy personnel and their families. The Indian Navy fearlessly protects our coasts and also renders humanitarian assistance in times of need. We also remember India’s rich maritime tradition over centuries,” PM Modi said in a tweet.

On the other hand, addressing a press conference on the eve of the Navy Day, Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh underlined the dual challenges of Covid-19 and Chinese incursions on Northern borders that India faces and assured that the Navy is ready to face all of it.

What is Navy Day?

Indian Navy Day is celebrated every year on December 4 to commemorate the Indian Navy’s ‘Operation Trident’ attack on the Karachi harbour during the India-Pakistan war in 1971. The decisive naval action heralded the victory of India over Pakistan in the Indo-Pak War of 1971.

The day also highlights the role of the Navy in securing the country’s marine borders.

How is Navy Day celebrated?

On Navy Day, various events are organised by the Indian Navy to reach out to the citizens through various mass contact programmes. This year, due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the outreach has turned largely virtual. Some of the activities include the “360-degree Virtual Reality Tour of INS Vikramaditya.” While watching the video, viewers will be able to explore the flight deck and other unclassified areas in 360 degrees using smartphones or other devices, reported ANI.

Eminent Policymaker & Strategist Dr Krishan Jha Offers Valuable Inputs To Resolve The Current Farmer Crisis

The India Saga Saga |

With nearly 50% of India’s population engaged in the agriculture sector, one would think that the sector would be a massive contributor to the country’s overall economy. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The agriculture sector’s contribution to the GVA (Gross Value Added) for 2019-20 is a mere 16.5%, down from 18.2% in 2014-15. If nothing else, this shows the kind of gap between the input and output that exists in this sector. To bring agriculture at par with other industries, the Government of India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, envisioned a silver lining for the agricultural economy in the form of three bills passed recently. However, these bills have created a furore of sorts in the country, with lakhs of farmers from the state of Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, gathering at the borders of the National Capital Region, demanding that the Union govt. either take back the bills or incorporate their demands before implementing the same.

Pained by this conflict, Dr. Krishan Jha, eminent strategist and policymaker, who have delivered more than 50 policies to GoI, big corporates like KPMG, Tata Group & founder of world’s biggest NGO Aggregator, Anti Corona Task Force (ACTF), thinks that meaningful dialogue is impossible amidst the cacophony of sounds emerging out of the multiple farmers’ unions that carrying out the protest. However, since this situation demands a reasonable solution, Dr. Jha has come forth with a couple of steps that could resolve this stalemate that emerged after the December 1st  meeting between the govt. and farmers’ representatives. But before that, Dr. Jha asks how a meaningful dialogue can be achieved with as many as 70+ farmers’ unions from Punjab and other states clamoring for talks and discussions.

Nevertheless, Dr. Jha suggests the following as a measure to assuage farmers’ concerns and bring this agitation to a quick end –

1)Make Minimum Support Price (MSP) a legal right of farmers; and

2)Direct all the states to set up a Kisan Mandi Authority to ensure that all the Mandis (farmer markets) function properly and in an egalitarian way with all the necessary infrastructure facilities.

Dr. Jha is of the opinion that implementing these two suggestions was enough to take the steam out of the current farmers’ protests.

In addition, he goes on to suggest that in order to save the farmers from the private players and middle-men, the govt. could ensure the following –

a)Encourage the private players in farming to pay 3-5% extra crop price to the farmers, and

b)Ensure that the mandis are freed from the stranglehold of Middle-men whose presence led to increasing of corruption in the system.

To sum up, Dr Jha says that the GOI must take immediate steps in this direction and not allow this protest to escalate into something uncontrollable in the future. He said, “India is at the cusp of a new future, under the able leadership of PM Modi and we simply cannot afford our progress to be derailed by issues that have the potential to be hijacked by vested interests.”
