Winter hair care that keeps bad hair days at bay

The India Saga Saga |

Don’t allow winters to wreck your perfect hair game. Instead, choose the right hair products to combat issues like dandruff, breakage, split ends, and dryness and flaunt those lustrous locks.

Taking care of your hair can become a battle during the winter months as the chilly weather almost always makes your hair frizzy and dry. What is the solution to this annual predicament? Simply, a good hair care regimen to combat winter hair problems and protect your tresses!

So whether you have dry or frizzy, straight or wavy, thin or thick hair, here are some hair care tips to enjoy healthy hair and prevent hair damage this winter.

Combat dryness with oil

Cold and dry winter air exacerbates the dullness of hair and the itchiness of the scalp. During winter, hair oiling goes a long way beyond simply moisturizing your scalp and hair. By improving blood circulation in the scalp, it also removes dandruff and strengthens your mane. Use natural oils such as Amla, Bhringraj, Rice Bran, and Tea Tree that find pride of place in Mamaearth hair products, besides being used in some other well-known brands like Juicy chemistry, Kama Ayurveda and Forest Essentials.

Choose hydrating shampoo & conditioner

Regis Salon specialists and many others recommend using a shampoo specifically formulated to hydrate and repair hair during winter. Shampoos & Conditioners containing Argan Oil and Apple Cider Vinegar gently cleanse and hydrate your scalp while also reducing split ends and healing damage. Argan Oil nourishes and keeps brittle hair at bay, and Apple Cider Vinegar keeps hair lustrous and moisturized. If you want the goodness of these ingredients in your hair care regimen, you must try Mamaearth Argan Shampoo & Conditioner Combo.

Keep hair frizz-free with serums

Serums not only prevent your tresses from becoming tangled in the cold winter air, but they also fortify them by forming a protective layer. A water-based scalp serum, made with Red Onion, Pea Sprouts, and Niacinamide can help restore hair root vitality while maintaining proper pH balance. Biotin-based hair serums blended with Olive Oil and Onion Seed Extract can also do wonders for your hair’s strength and luster.

Nourish your tresses with masks

The big advantage of a hair mask is that its high lipid density produces a protective barrier on the scalp’s surface and protects the hair. To prevent winter hair damage, give your hair a deep nourishing treatment at least once a week. Rosemary Oil, Milk Protein, and Avocado Oil are some of the deep conditioning ingredients used in hair masks. These ingredients enter deep into the hair strands to provide hydration and improve the overall health of your scalp and boost the strength of your hair.

Wash your hair the right way

Regardless of which product you use or what season it is, experts recommend washing your hair using lukewarm water. While it can be tempting to cozy up with a hot shower in winter, doing so can damage your hair roots and cause breakage. Reducing the number of hair washes in winter is also recommended to avoid stripping natural oils from your hair.

Dry your hair before going outdoors

Wet hair is more prone to damage when exposed to the cold winter air, says Jason Collier, celebrity hairdresser to the likes of Victoria Beckham, Sienna Miller and Eva Longoria. So, make sure your hair is completely dry when leaving the house to minimize hair breakage and split ends. Also, consider wearing a breathable hat or scarf to shield your hair from the cold while allowing air circulation.

The bottom line

The above tips will go a long way in preparing your hair care routine for the winter months and to flaunt your lustrous locks in style. As a thumb rule, to prevent hair damage remember to do everything you can to lock moisture in. Additionally, using hair care products packed with natural hydrating ingredients will keep bad hair days at bay, this winter.

Club Mahindra always goes out of its way to make guests comfortable. Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh admitted to AIIMS, condition stable now

The India Saga Saga |

Former Prime Minister and senior Congress leader Dr. Manmohan Singh, on Wednesday evening, was admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi after he complained of fever and weakness. As per the team of doctors, his condition is stable now.

Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India, on Wednesday evening, was admitted to the All India Institue of Medical Science (AIIMS) after he complained of fever and weakness. He is currently admitted to a private ward of the cardio-neuro centre of AIIMS and is under the care of a team of cardiologists led by Dr Nistish Naik. As per hospital officials, his condition is stable as of now.

The Congress leader had been complaining of fever since Tuesday and was admitted to AIIMS for evaluation of fever. This is not the first time the 89-year-old Congress leader was admitted to the hospital, earlier, last year, he was admitted to AIIMS as he complained of uneasiness. This year too, Singh was admitted to the All India Institue of Medical Science after he was tested positive for the Coronavirus.

As soon as the news of Singh being admitted to the hospital broke out, people and politicians across the party line wished for his speedy recovery. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this morning, took to his Twitter account and wrote “I pray for the good health and speedy recovery of Dr Manmohan Singh Ji.” Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also tweeted wishing Singh a speedy recovery. Congress party’s official Twitter handle also tweeted a recovery message for Dr Singh. However, what raised the eyebrows was that there wasn’t any single tweet from both Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on the former Prime Minister’s health.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, on Thursday morning, visited the All India Institue of Medical Science (AIIMS) to enquire about Singh’s health.

Punjab Chief Minister urges Centre to reverse its decision to extend BSF jurisdiction

The India Saga Saga |

On Wednesday, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi took to Twitter to condemn the Centre’s decision to expand the Border Security Force’s jurisdiction to a 50-kilometer belt along the international border in Punjab, West Bengal, and Assam. Previously, the BSF’s jurisdiction was a 15-kilometer belt along the border.

BSF officers have the same arrest, search, and seizure powers as police officers in the areas under their jurisdiction. Punjab Chief Minister Channi called the central government’s decision “a direct attack on federalism” and urged Union Home Minister Amit Shah to reverse it.

The Ministry of Home Affairs stated in its notice, “The amendment, which took effect on October 11, 2021, establishes uniformity in defining the area within which the Border Security Force can operate in accordance with its charter of duties and in carrying out its role and task of border guarding in its areas of deployment. This will also improve operational effectiveness in combating transnational crime.”

The area under BSF jurisdiction in Gujarat has been reduced from an 80-kilometer belt to a 50-kilometer belt. In Rajasthan, the distance has remained constant at 50 kilometres. As previously stated, no limit has been prescribed in Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura, Manipur, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.

Section 139 of the Border Security Force Act of 1968, which gives the Centre the authority to notify the force’s jurisdiction, requires that any such order be laid before each House of Parliament. These orders can be modified or revoked by the Houses.

A Quick Review of the Best Betting Apps in India Today

The India Saga Saga |

Year-round, there are just so many sports events to watch and bet on. The second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021 is about to come to its conclusion but just two days after its final comes the ICC’s Men’s T20 World Cup. It’s an exciting time for many cricket fans and we’re sure that many are not just looking forward to watching the matches but also to place their bets.

With sports betting becoming more popular, Indian punters have a plethora of options when it comes to sportsbooks and betting apps. We know that it could be a bit overwhelming to choose which bookie is the right fit for your betting needs but we’re here to help.

Here’s a quick read that could help you get a feel of the best betting apps in the country. From 22BET to 10CRIC App review, we will be sure to include the apps everyone else is using to bet safely and conveniently.

Betway

Betway is an international bookie managed by the Super Group. The Betway app is downloadable on the bookie’s official site. It has a user-friendly interface that runs smoothly. It’s also great if you’re after a betting app that offers a huge selection of cricket odds. Aside from cricket, Betway also has odds on other sports like football and rugby.

The app allows you to make a transaction with them via NetBanking, Neteller, Maestro, Skrill, Visa, Paysafecard, Visa Electron, ecoPayz, eCheck, Neosurf, iDebit, and many more. So far, we only see people saying that it’s a bit hard to reach the site’s customer service. If you’re into playing casino games, you will have to download a separate Betway app.

10CRIC

10CRIC is simply one of the leading bookies in India today as it is mainly focused on servicing Indians. With that, you can expect that offers some of the best odds out there for cricket matches. The 10CRIC app is downloadable on both Android and iOS devices. It not only offers odds on cricket but also on other events too like kabaddi. The app already has live casino features too that are powered by Betgames TV.

A wide variety of payment methods is offered here including the use of credit/debit cards, digital wallets like Neteller and PayTM, and cryptocurrencies too like Bitcoin. 10CRIC app is known for its modern and fast betting interface. 10CRIC has positive reviews when it comes to customer support on sites like Trustpilot. The app is heavily focused on cricket betting which is probably why it doesn’t offer odds on horse racing at this time.

Bet365

This British online bookie also offers its services to Indian nationals and allows them to use the local currency. What’s great about this is that the app also comes with access to the company’s casino game selections. The app also gives its users access to Free live streaming of certain matches.

Bet365 allows the use of online payment solutions like Visa, Electron, Maestro, and MasterCard Debit cards. Aside from bank cards, users can also use UPI apps like PayTM and Google Pay, PhonePe, Skrill, Neteller, and Astropay. There are reports from users that customer support is hard to reach here but overall, it’s great if you intend to bet on other sports too.

Parimatch

Another betting app that’s popular in India is Parimatch. This app also gives its users access to casino games like slots, blackjack, roulette, and poker. It has a multi-bet feature that allows you to bet on multiple matches and tournaments.

Indian Rupees is accepted here and some of the payment options on the app are Visa credit card, Mastercard, Neteller, Qiwi, WebMoney, and Skrill. Withdrawal options include bank transfers and cryptocurrencies. Parimatch also offers odds on other sports and esports. However, it doesn’t offer odds on horse racing.

22BET

Also easily accessible in India is 22Bet which offers odds on not only cricket but also on other sports too like football, basketball, ice hockey, tennis, baseball, boxing, MMA, golf, volleyball, and many more. It’s known for its huge selection of sports and it also offers a good variety of casino games like slots and traditional table games,

Bet22 also allows plenty of payment solutions on their platform including the use of bank cards, Skrill, Neteller, ecoPayz, Paysafe, Webmoney, Payeer, Qiwi, Neosurf, and Boku. However, when it comes to Neosurf and Boku, these options aren’t included in payout withdrawal. While Bet22 is used by many people, it’s noticeable that its app is a bit slow.
