Professor Manoel Galvao Neto, Affiliate Professor of Surgery at FMABC, Santo Andre, Sao Paulo, Brazil and a mentor to Dr. Bhandari has joined the SAIMS University as the Director of the Bariatric Endoscopy Division and as a Clinical Professor in the department for Surgical and Medical Gastroenterology at SAIMS medical school, and in Mohak Bariatrics and Robotics as a Director of Innovation and Clinical Research.

Manoel Galvao Neto MD, MSC, FASBMS, FASGE is an Affiliate Professor of Surgery at FMABC, Santo Andre, Sao Paulo, Brazil. He graduated from the Bauhinia School of Medicine, Brazil, with a degree in Medicine. After that, he completed his residency programme in digestive surgery and endoscopy at July Hospital, Sâo Paulo, Brazil. He has pioneered laparoscopic surgery. 

Professor Neto is also a Bariatric Endoscopy Committee member at IFSO/ Advisory Board Member of Association of Bariatric Endoscopy – ABE (ASGE division) and the Chairman of Bariatric Endoscopy Nucleus at Brazilian Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. His achievements include the “Innovation Award” by ASBMS in 2015, Scientific Director of Endovitta Institute, Sao Paulo, Brazil. To add on, he is a board-certified specialist in Digestive Surgery, Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy. Also, he is a Fellow of ASBMS, ASGE and a holder of a master’s degree in Digestive Surgery USP.

To this new association, Professor Neto said, “For me, this is an honour, real joy, a pleasure to join the team.” He said that he admires the work Mohak Bariatrics and Robotics is doing here. 19-year-old Nandini Agrawal tops the ICAI CA final exam with 614/800 marks and her brother, Sachin Agrawal who is 21 years old, secures All India Rank 18. In the month of July 2021, the CA Final examinations were held between 5 and 19, for both old and new courses.

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released results of the final year examinations (old and new course both) held this year, in the month of July.

No. of Students appeared in the Final Exam (New Course) – 83,606

No. of Exam Centers – 684

In the new course, Nandini Agrawal has topped the CA exam followed by Sakhshi Airan and Bagrecha Sakshi Rajendrakumar.

No. of Students appeared in the Final Exam (Old Course) – 46,139

No. of Exam Centers– 526

In the old course, Ruth Clare Dsilva has topped the exam, while Malavika R Krishnan secured 2nd position.

According to media reports, girls glow somewhat better than boys with the former scoring 27.26% as pass percentage, while that the boys scoring 26.08%. Concurrently for topper Nandini’s family, it was a case of double celebration. The 21-year-old Nandini’s brother, Sachin Agrawal, has achieved All India Rank (AIR) 18. In an interview with our news reporter, Nandini said that she and her brother supported each other whenever required: “My brother and I have been studying together since school. We also prepared for IPCC and CA final together. Our strategy has been simple — we support each other but we criticize even more. When we solve a question paper, he used to check my answers and I checked his. There have been moments when I was losing hope but my brother’s support got me back on track.”
