Asort believes in maintaining high ethical standards, to give it’s customers a memorable experience

The India Saga Saga |

Asort Company is soaring high in the country with its extensive co-commerce platform. Evolving through the diverse phases of its expansion, Asort Company has built trust among business holders and consumers hailing from the different parts of the country. Roshan Singh Bisht – CEO and Co-Founder of Dynamic Beneficial Accord Marketing Pvt. Ltd. says that, “Today Asort Company is considered to be one of the leading examples of digital India, which is also inspiring many individuals for new start-ups and experiment with their unique business ideas, and as far as the trust building and ethics are concerned Asort Company equally believes prioritizing right ethical governance. It also more emphasizes on inspiring consumers to be well informed about their rights as a consumer and companies’ ethics they should follow.”

Talking about the industry at large, there are a number of companies which have worked up to the level of unethical means. Countless reports about stooping low with illegal practices, falters and frauds pose bigger challenges. Especially during this COVID 19 pandemic, a major section of the society got duped to the unfortunate level of disappointment that too in the time of prevailing distress. Potter Stewart rightly quoted, “Ethics is knowing the difference between what you have a right to do and what is right to do” and Asort Company has never compromised with its ethics, even in the time of pandemic and economic crunch it has helped its associates and kept their faith.

Being a co-commerce platform Asort App and other online channels offer a wide range of brands like IFAZONE, Mr Huffman, ABG and Amiiga etc. and a huge community of business holders is associated with it. It surely develops a sense of extended responsibility to ensure authenticity of transactions at every level. One needs to go through the basic structure of these sets of ethics compliances. Asort Company talks about majorly two types of compliances, one is Statutory industrial compliances (Regulated by Ministry of Consumer Affairs) and second one is Secretarial compliances (every company is supposed to follow).

Going by the Statutory compliances Dynamic Beneficial Accord Marketing Pvt. Ltd.’s Asort Company is covered under direct buying-selling category as well as E- commerce category. Hence it follows both type compliances and guidelines. These compliances majorly revolve around the guidelines and requirements about maintaining authenticity with consumers, they majorly look for things like- an authentic numbers to contact, right and confirmed display of information on website etc. The same governing body asks for particular documents to be submitted to the government by the company. Along with that Legal Metrology department seeks other concerned verifications from the companies. Also there are laws regarding data protection, IT laws, competition commission laws etc.

As far as Secretarial Compliances are concerned, it has internal community compliances to ensure company’s members do not falter at any level.  Ambrish Ranjan, Head- Compliance, Corporate Affairs and VOC, Asort said that, “following its own ethos of ethical business practices Asort Company is associated with dedicated government recognized auditors to audit and monitor government driven compliances at every level, be it financial, operational, industrial etc.

Ambrish Ranjan further added “Apart from that we have our own internal community related compliances team to monitor the community. Asort Company does not compromise on ethics and if any community member is found doing unethical practices we won’t blink an eyelid before taking action against them. The essence of co-commerce is community building which is surely not possible without people’s trust building.”

Roshan Singh Bisht – CEO and Co-Founder of Dynamic Beneficial Accord Marketing Pvt. Ltd. said that“we can share an example here in this regard. Our company doesn’t accept cash at any level as there may be a possibility to falter and ask for more cash off record. Hence for the sake of transparency and recorded documentation the transactions are told to be done online. If still any community member asks for cash and it is brought to the company’s attention, the internal compliance team immediately takes action without fail. We have a dedicated customer care number and members to protect consumer’s rights.”

What makes Dynamic Beneficial Accord Marketing Pvt. Ltd.’s Asort Company more unique in regards to abiding by ethics is their distinct video verification department of purchase. This is to ensure the authenticity of the purchases at a certain level. The person making purchases is supposed to share a video in which she or he is explaining and accepting that the referral is authentic. There are certain guidelines for that video verification and internal community compliances team looks into the matter and confirms. Once the video is verified only then the same purchases are allowed in order to safeguard buyer’s and seller’s interest.

The community based model in business is surely new for the Indian consumers and business holders but with consistency and keeping members’ faith around 5 lakh people have been touched upon through online channels in one and a half year span. Roshan Singh Bisht says that while maintaining a larger community’s faith in the process Asort Company is also concerned about review managements and consumer rights. Asort Company believes that irrespective of the challenges in upcoming years the same level of honesty and trust building will make their foundation stronger.

Afghanistan Women protests against Taliban

The India Saga Saga |

Taliban has ruled Afghanistan from 1996 to 2001.  Afghanistan women are protesting a  dress that is imposed by Taliban.  She is wearing Afghan traditional dress and uses #Donottouchmyclothes or  #Afghanistanculture.

Dr. Bahar Jalali is saying that hundreds of women are protesting and commenting against this code dress that is imposed by Taliban.

Jalali said, she started this campaign because misinformation is being propagated by the Taliban.

She wants to educate the girls of  Afghanistan because no woman ever wore dresses like this.

Saying this is Afghan culture and we are wearing our culture dress, Jalali also posted a photo of herself in a green dress.  This campaign was started by Former  History professor Dr . Bahar Jalali in the American University of Afghanistan.  Taliban said girls will wear hijab and take the Taliban flag with them while attending lectures in school and college.

Other Afghan women responded by posting pictures of themselves in bright and colourful traditional Afghan dresses from across the country in stark contrast to the black hijab mandate by the  Taliban. “I wear my traditional Afghan dress proudly. It’s colorful and beautiful. Not at all like the images you  saw circulating yesterday. Thank you  @RoxanaBahar1 who’s encouraging us  #AfghanWomen to share the beauty of  #AfghanistanCulture,” Tahmina Aziz tweeted.

Charlotte Johnson, mother of UK PM expired on Monday

The India Saga Saga |

Charlotte Johnson Wahl, a professional painter and the mother of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, died on Monday, September 13. Charlotte Johnson was 79 years old. The news was reported by the Telegraph newspaper earlier.

The newspaper reported in accordance with a statement received by the family that Johnson Wahl passed away “suddenly and peacefully”. No response could be received from Downing Street on request of comments. Representatives of the family could not be immediately reached.

Johnson had described his mother as the “superior authority” in the family during the Conservative Party’s annual conference in 2019. “I am going to quote that supreme authority in my family – my mother, and by the way for keen students of the divisions in my family on matters of the EU, I want you to know that I have kept the ace up my sleeve – my mother voted ‘leave,’” Prime Minister Johnson said then. According to The Telegraph, Johnson Wahl was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at the age of 40.

“I try to paint every day if I possibly can, though I have to go to the hospital a lot. I still manage to paint, though my arm will suddenly do a movement which is completely unintentional, and that almost brings me to tears,” she told the newspaper in an interview in 2008.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will set out the government’s winter plan for managing Covid-19 this week, Downing Street said on Monday. Vaccines will continue to be the “first line of defense” over the coming autumn and winter months, supported by new treatments, testing, and the UK’s “world-leading” variant surveillance system, with further lockdowns expected to be ruled out.

Under the autumn-winter proposals, the government is set to repeal some powers of its emergency Coronavirus Act, brought in to tackle the pandemic last year. “Thanks to the efforts of the public, the NHS, and our phenomenal vaccination program, we reached Step 4 in our (lockdown) Roadmap and life has returned to a sense of normality,” said Johnson, ahead of a planned press conference on Tuesday.

“These extraordinary times required necessary but intrusive measures. But I’m determined to get rid of any powers we no longer need because of our vaccine defenses. I will set out the next phase in our Covid response shortly,” he said.

Downing Street has said that while certain powers, such as closing down sectors of the economy, schools, and detention of infectious people are set to go, some vital powers from the Coronavirus Act will be retained to protect and support the public. This includes giving sick pay to those isolated from day one rather than day seven, directing schools to remain open if they close against government guidance, and helping the national health service (NHS) to get the emergency resource it needs.

Legal requirements will remain for someone to isolate if they test positive, to protect the most vulnerable from infection, and to control the spread of variants. Downing Street said that as of September 9, nearly 90 percent of the UK population aged over 16 have received a first dose of the Covid vaccine, and over 80 percent have received both doses.

The latest data from Public Health England (PHE) shows Covid vaccines are highly effective against hospitalization from the Delta (B.1.617.2) variant, first detected in India and currently the dominant strain in the UK. Analysis shows the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is 96 percent effective and the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine – being administered in India as Covishield – is 92 percent effective against hospitalization after two doses.

SpaceX Inspiration 4: The first-ever all-civilian orbital mission

The India Saga Saga |

For the first time in history, SpaceX Inspiration 4 mission is set to launch four civilians to space on Wednesday night aboard a SpaceX capsule. A fully automated dragon capsule is of the same kind that is used to send astronauts to and from the space station (ISS) for NASA. SpaceX’s first private flight will be led by a billionaire entrepreneur and philanthropist, Jared Isaacman. He is taking two sweepstakes winners with him and one healthcare worker who survived childhood cancer. Isaacman, a trained pilot is the one who is bankrolling the entire trip on his behalf. Billionaire Jared Isaacman purchased the flight as a part of an effort to raise millions for st. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As the private flight’s benefactor, Jared Isaacman, says: “This is the first step toward a world where everyday people can go and venture among the stars.”

Inspiration 4 bellwether mission is wholly constituted of civilians with no professional space experience, although the crew has undergone the necessary training but still they can not be counted in the space experts. The Inspiration 4 is set to blast off on Wednesday, September 15, at 8.00 P.M. EDT.  The launch will take place from Kennedy space center, the men & two women will rise higher 100 miles than the space station, seeking an altitude of 357 miles. If it goes all planned then Inspiration 4 will make rounds on the internet for its remarkable historic step and it will become the only first fully private mission of spacecraft that will open numerous opportunities for commoners to travel to space without any restriction and control.

“We’ve been hearing that for so long, that until it happens, it’s not unusual that people are a little skeptical about that,” says Alan Ladwig, who in the 1980s led NASA’s Space Flight Participant Program, an initiative to send civilian storytellers like teachers and journalists to space as a way to get the public excited about human spaceflight.

“But in order to get to the endpoint we want, you have to go through this initial step, with the early adopters and paying higher costs to go in order to eventually lower the cost,” he exclaimed.
