The need to streamline the storage and parking space in India

The India Saga Saga |

Both Storage and parking are perennial common man problems in India, which need to be catered wisely to increase the liveability index.

India is a populous country with a maximum population settled in the urban and metro cities. Due to increased real estate costs, most of the urban crowd is adopting minimalism and preferring optimal living.

In an extended work from home scenario, a growing proportion of the working population, primarily techies, are leaving the city and moving back to their hometowns, pushing up demand for storage houses, where household and office belongings are stocked securely for low rentals. Post pandemic times many warehousing companies have started providing shared storage spaces to its customers. The self-storage sector in India is still at an early stage with only a handful of organized players – with limited space capacities – in the mega metros.

Similarly even today it is very difficult for a vehicle owner to find a decent parking spot near their residential and work location. Due to lack of available parking spaces many commuters depend of the public transport system which is also not very well equipped in India.

Airattix tries to solve these common global problems by creating a market place where people can list and rent personally owned vacant properties or parking spots for rental of goods storage or car parking respectively. Airattix provides an opportunity for the host to earn some extra income from their vacant and unused properties.

The startup has sensed tremendous growth potential and in the past one year and big brands like Oyo Rooms, Storemore, Yourspace Doctor etc. are listing their properties on the companies website to rent it further to storage and parking customers.

Airattix tries to justify the high demand by providing a platform for rental of storage and parking spaces. Within a short span of time the company has managed to scale its operations in all major metro cities in India with more than 3000 registered users. With huge market potential the company has lot of expansion plans in the tier 2 and tier 3 cities as well.

Touring visiting India from these nations must have RTPCR

The India Saga Saga |

The central government has expanded its coronavirus disease (Covid-19)-related restrictions to encompass new nations, making a negative RTPCR test report essential for overseas travellers wanting to enter India. According to the Union ministry of health and family welfare, the restrictions were imposed due to concerns about new mutations of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, particularly the ‘Mu’ and ‘C.1.2’ variants reported in recent days, as well as the rising number of “Variants of Concern (VOCs)” and “Variants of Interest (Vols)” in general around the world.

The health ministry has added seven more countries to the list of countries from which visitors must have a negative RTPCR test report in order to enter India.
These seven countries are:

  1. South Africa
  2. Bangladesh
  3. Botswana
  4. China
  5. Mauritius
  6. New Zealand
  7. Zimbabwe

Travelers from the United Kingdom (UK), the European Union (EU), and the Middle East are already required to have a negative RTPCR analysis in order to board flights to India. They must also take an RTPCR test when they arrive.

Union health secretary Rajesh Bhushan said in a statement, “Considering the reports of new mutations in SARS-CoV-2 and rising number of Variants of Concern (VoCs) and Variants of Interest (Vols) globally, the following countries have been added in the scope of part B of MoHFW’s Guidelines on International Arrival, in addition to existing Countries in “Part-B” i.e. United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East.”

“More countries including South Africa, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zealand, and Zimbabwe. International travellers from all these countries would now need RTPCR negative reports to get on flights to India and RTPCR testing upon arrival here,” Bhushan added.
To boost their Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) efforts, the Union health secretary also asked chief secretaries of the individual states and Union territories to refer to the amended instructions on international travel.

Meanwhile, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a separate order requiring travellers arriving from specified countries to show a negative RTPCR test report.
To enter Mumbai, international travellers from these countries will require a negative RTPCR report from Friday, September 3:

  1. UK
  2. Europe
  3. Middle East
  4. South Africa
  5. Brazil
  6. Bangladesh
  7. Botswana
  8. China
  9. Mauritius
  10. Zimbabwe

According to the BMC, passengers from other countries must provide their respective RTPCR negative findings conducted 72 hours ahead to the voyage when exiting the airport or boarding connecting flights from any of the above-mentioned countries. Travelers will also be forced to fill out self-declaration forms at the airport and will be subjected to a 14-day home quarantine.

War between Centre & Bengal intensifies, CBI files chargesheet in Post Poll Violence

The India Saga Saga |

The Central Bureau of Investigation is on fast track probing the Post Poll Violence in the state of West Bengal. So far, the central agency has filed 34 FIRs in connection with various murders in the state. Meanwhile, the West Bengal government has approached the apex court against the Calcutta High Court’s order directing the CBI to investigate the Post Poll Violence in the state.

The state government on Wednesday approached the Supreme Court and requested for an urgent hearing of an original suit. Expressing a lack of confidence in the central agency, the Trinamool government accused the agency of working on the behest of the Central government and targeting its leaders in the state. The Mamata Banerjee led government also accused the probe agency of violating the federal structure by continuing to register cases in Bengal despite the state’s withdrawal of the general consent given to the CBI.

CBI is on fast track probing the matter. The agency has submitted a chargesheet in the Nalhati murder case. Earlier they had arrested four accused in post poll violence in Krishnanagar’s Nadia. The CBI, on Thursday filed a FIR in the Rampurhat district court against the person accused in the murder of a BJP activist Manoj Jaiswal.  A resident of Nalhati, Jaiswal was murdered by unknown miscreants on May 14 after the results of recently concluded state elections were announced. A FIR was lodged against five people accused in the murder. The five main accused Mainuddin Sheikh, Azimuddin Sheikh, Imran Sheikh, Farooq Ali and Jahedi Hussain were named in the FIR.

The CBI’s Special Investigation Team also visited Nalhati in the Birbhum district and had a conversation with the family of the deceased. As per the sources, the officials took all the necessary details related to the matter from the investigating officer of the Nalhati police station.

The decision to approach the apex court challenging the high court’s order comes at a time when CBI is going all out to probe the post poll violence in the state. Incidentally, the ED (Enforcement Directorate) had asked Abhishek Banerjee, nephew of Mamata Banerjee, to appear in front of the agency on September 6th in a money laundering case linked to an alleged coal scam. The central agency had also asked Abhishek Banerjee’s wife, Rujira Banerjee, to appear in front of the agency in the same matter on Sept 1st which she skipped citing her young children and requested to be questioned in Kolkata.

Beauty benefits of green coffee for skin Attribute by Karan Gupta , Founder ,Qraamen

The India Saga Saga |

Green coffee is precisely what its name says it is, unroasted beans of coffee. Unfortunately, the roasting process tends to wear off the potency of the wholesome nutrients, which are beneficial for your health, skin and hair. However, green coffee has a near similar taste to roasted coffee, plus the whole list of benefits and many more when compared to roasted coffee!

The newest naturally found ingredient in the beauty industry, green coffee is a powerful ingredient as it is known to be extremely rich in antioxidants that slow down the ageing process of the skin, which helps to retain skin elasticity for a much longer span. In addition, the presence of chlorogenic acid helps reduce the redness of the skin and protects the skin from everyday exposure to sun damage. Green coffee helps tighten your skin and give it a youthful look and feel. A booster for collagen, green coffee is known to help retain your skin’s elasticity and get rid of the loose skin, not allowing wrinkles and fine lines to show.

These benefits have resulted in many ayurvedic based and organic skincare brands dedicating a whole range of products developed around green coffee. While many people tend to use it only as a drink, products like the hulk green coffee body scrub and body wash can help you get the benefits of green coffee if you include them in your daily routine.

When powdered and used to make the hulk green coffee body scrub, the crushed beans make an excellent exfoliate that helps treat acne and clogged pore. A green coffee serum used before your daily moisturizer can help your skin improve its texture and feel plump and young.

The antioxidants present in the extra green coffee makes any cream and moisturizer made from the extract very effective in helping your skin fight the effects of sun exposure and helps your skin regain its natural glow.

Switching over to products made from Green coffee as a core ingredient has helped many improve the quality, texture and shine of their skin. In addition, including Green Coffee products in your skincare routine will help slow down the effect of ageing on your skin.

“Shri Chandan Mitra Ji will be remembered for his intellect and insights. He distinguished himself in the world of media as well as politics. Anguished by his demise. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti,” PM Modi tweeted.

Swapan Dasgupta, a Rajya Sabha MP, came to Twitter to express his grief over Chandan Mitra’s death, saying that he had lost his “closest friend.” Posting a photo from a school trip in 1972, Dasgupta wrote, “I lost my closest friend—editor of Pioneer & former MP Chandan Mitra—this morning. We were together as students of La Martiniere & went on to St Stephen’s & Oxford. We joined journalism at the same time & shared the excitement of Ayodhya & the saffron wave.”

Until June of this year, Chandan Mitra was the managing director of The Pioneer in Delhi. Chandan Mitra first entered politics in 2003, when he was elected to the Rajya Sabha. As a BJP MP from Madhya Pradesh, he was re-elected to the Rajya Sabha in 2010. He joined the All India Trinamool Congress in 2018.

We remained in touch over the years, ironically till I returned to Delhi& politics separated us. RIP,” Tharoor tweeted.

Increased heartbeats can hijack neurons, affecting decision making brain circuits

The India Saga Saga |

In a recent study, scientists have found that racing heartbeats can alter the decision-making brain circuits.  The discovery of the phenomenon was reported in the journal ‘PNAS’ (Proceedings of the national academy of sciences). Increasing heartbeats, rise in blood pressure, shortness of breath is an intense state of the body that a person experiences. In other words anxiety, addiction, and other psychiatric disorders are the outcomes that scientists named arousal. The heart races, blood pressure reading rises, breath shortens, and  “bad” decisions are made.

In an effort to understand how these states influence the brains’ decision-making processes, scientists study the data of non-human primates. The research further revealed that the two brain decision-making centers have neutrons that surveil the internal dynamics of the body. A high level of arousal appeared to reconnect one of the centers, causing the neurons to act as internal state monitors. Thus, letting the changes in our arousals alter the way the circuits work.

“We hope that the research study helps the doctors to  reexamine & analyze the fundamental areas of the brain and cellular processes that curb several psychiatric disorders”, doctor Rudebeck exclaimed

For a very long time, scientists and researchers have been discussing the relationship between arousal and decision making efficiency as a “U-shaped curve”

A little bit of arousal can be proved effective towards the functioning of the body and mind. Consuming a little cappuccino can produce peak efficiency but excess intake could produce damaging results further leading to uneasiness, fear, and other psychiatric disorders

“Brain scanning studies have suggested that bodily arousal alters the activity of decision-making processes. Our results are backed on a cellular level and guide that the sole duty of these neutrons is to track the body’s internal and interoceptive states”, quoted by doctor Atsushi Fujimoto

Therefore, in order to regulate good functioning of the body & mind, it is necessary to control racing heartbeats as they can hijack the neurons in the brain leading to bad decision making.
