Vishal Dilip Bhujbal: A blessing in disguise for the Indian Railways system

The India Saga Saga |

Nowadays, many people in power turn out to be corrupt and abusive of their authorities. It is up to only a few to actually bring about a change in the world and push it towards the better. Such people are like angels walking among commoners; however, they are not actually angels or anything divine. They are just people like us who are working as social workers. Yes, you read that right- a large part of societal and economic development falls in the hands of social workers and activists. It is hard to find someone who is actually passionate about making a positive impact which is why it is important to actually celebrate and reward their efforts.

Vishal Dilip Bhujbal is one such person who is putting in his all as a social worker. Initially, this was not his plan for life and he had hoped to secure a normal 9-5 job like most others. However, Bhujbal was influenced by Bhaiyyuji Maharaj, a phenomenal charity worker. After meeting Maharaj, Bhujbal was extremely inspired and decided to dedicate his life to helping those in need. Bhujbal’s parents were initially hesitant of their son doing social work for a living since it is not a career that provides much in terms of monetary wealth. However, they soon saw the happiness and satisfaction that it brought Bhujbal to help the despondent and the weak in their times of misery and they instead chose to be supportive of his dream.

Bhujbal has done quite well in his career as a social activist and achieved many of the goals that he set out on. Recently he was appointed for a position in the Chakradharpur divisional Railway advisory committee of the Indian Railway. As we all know the Railways is one of India’s largest public-sector undertaking. Many people often take for granted the sheer size and scale of operation of the Railways. They often complain about the service and efficacy of the Railways but we all know that if one train is late for one day life would literally come to a halt. Bhujbal has been aware of this for quite some time and has been actively working towards solving people’s qualms around the railway system.

Chakradharpur which is a municipality in the state of Jharkhand is one of the busiest routes in the state. It also forms a major section of the South Eastern Railway known for its richness in the mining business. The route has a large number of passenger and freight trains passing through it at every hour of the day. Problems along the Chakradharpur route run galore and Vishal has been working hard to bring such issues to an end. With the help of several NGOs and charitable organisations, Bhujbal is trying his level best to bring development to the Railways.

In the year 2020, Vishal Dilip Bhujbal was awarded the title of “National Youth icon 2020” at Delhi. It is a great achievement especially at such an early stage of his career. Bhujbal still has a long way to go till all his goals are fulfilled and along the way, he is sure to help many more.

Founder of YAKS Group, Yax Sheth, takes over industry via advanced technology

The India Saga Saga |

Market research firms can now build self-service platforms where clients can construct their brief micro-surveys using technology. The research has also grown more agile as a result of it. Agile market research is a method based on agile software development that prioritises multiple little tests over a few big bets, rapid iterations over big campaigns, testing and data above opinions and conventions, and adapting to change over sticking to a plan. YAKS Group, founded by Yax Sheth along with his partners, is one such organisation that specialises in technological creation as well as comprehensive market research for a variety of industries.

Taking inspiration from Chanakya, Yax has also been a dreamer since his school days and has always dreamt of doing something extraordinary which sets him apart from the crowd. He was always clear with his purpose and ultimate goal while pursuing engineering. While his fellow mates were taking up jobs in the last year of engineering, he was busy registering for his own venture.

YAKS Group, a Vadodara-based firm, uses an innovative way to solve business difficulties. They are a set of businesses that offer digital services. They turn people’s ideas into digital creations because there are few companies capable of doing so in their field. They have 40% of clients who have tried other companies’ services and not gotten what they needed, so they approach them for help. With their own formula, they also provide high-quality harmful chemical-free personal care products.

Being the leading light of such a big company, his entrepreneurial journey has been full of ups and downs till now. He has also taken a personal loan to finance his team’s payroll and with his team, the business has grown by 200 times.

There has been a continual production of revenue since the covid pandemic struck the market. However, there has been a shift in the manner revenue is generated. Currently, 40 times more money is spent on medical care and 60 times less money is spent on luxury or entertainment. Regardless of the scenario, innovative approaches have always had a distinct position in the market.

Yax has received numerous awards as a business virtuoso, including ‘Youngest CEO of the Year’ and ‘Startup CEOs of the Year.’ As a passion for public speaking, he has given over 50 start-up seminars in colleges since he enjoys sharing his knowledge and learning with budding entrepreneurs.

Not only has he won honours for himself, but also for his company “Best Direct Selling Software Company of the Year” and “Most Innovative Company of the Year.” As he always had a vision of doing something different from the world, his aim is to contribute to society in all possible manner . He has planned NGOs in several industries with a specific goal in mind: to mould India’s destiny by providing ultimate wisdom to India’s next generation.

Having focused and clear ideas for the organisation, YAKS Group is a corporation that is quickly expanding in every way. They intend to increase their production capacities by 80% year over year (Year on Year). And also intend to open 100 or more stores by 2023. In terms of technology, they are working on two distinct concepts that will be available in the market until the middle of 2022. The YAKS Group is aiming for a revenue of 40 million rupees each year. They currently serve clients in 12 countries around the world and want to expand to 13 more by 2025.

“If you are thinking about starting something or have anything in mind, just go for it,” he advised the aspiring entrepreneur, based on his years of experience. “There will be many challenges, problems, prioritised complaints from loved ones, and sacrifices along the way, but trust me, it will be worth it. Patience is essential for becoming a market leader in your field. You must be as cunning as a lion when attacking and retreating so that you can learn from your customer’s psychology.”

When it comes to the power of social media, he recommends that one should utilise it for business, such as personal branding. But also make sure that one doesn’t become addicted to it by doing so. Yax and his partners have completely self-funded his company, demonstrating his dedication to his profession. It plainly distinguishes him from the rest of the world, which is exactly what he desired.

World Food Safety Day -WHO emphasizes need for food security

The India Saga Saga |

World Food Safety Day is observed annually on June 7 by the World Health Organization (WHO) to raise awareness about foodborne hazards and to aid in the prevention, diagnosis, and control of adverse sickness, contributing to long-term human development through decent food security. Following the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic, which is said to have started spreading among humans two years ago from a ‘wet market’ in Wuhan, China, global food safety watchdogs are emphasizing the dangers of risky eating behaviors this year, on June 7, 2021.

From 2016 forward, the necessity for an international food safety day was addressed at many sessions of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). The assembly passed a resolution on December 20, 2018, designating June 7 as a day to “highlight the various benefits of safe food.”

WHO seeks to mainstream food safety in the public agenda and minimize the global burden of foodborne illness through World Food Safety Day. According to the public health agency, “food safety is everyone’s business.”

On August 3, 2020, the World Health Assembly (WHA) passed a resolution designating June 7 as World Food Safety Day to raise awareness about the importance of food safety at all levels, as well as to promote and facilitate actions to prevent foodborne diseases at local, national, regional, and global levels; and to strengthen global efforts for food safety to reduce the burden of famine.

This year’s World Food Safety Day theme is “Safe food today for a healthy tomorrow.” WHO hopes to emphasize that safe food production and consumption offer immediate and long-term advantages for people, the environment, and the economy. “Recognizing the systemic connections between the health of people, animals, plants, the environment, and the economy will help us meet the needs of the future,” WHO stated.

Food safety is critical in ensuring that food remains safe at every stage of the food chain, from production to harvest, processing, storage, distribution, and all the way to preparation and consumption, because foodborne diseases are usually invisible to the naked eye and infectious or toxic in nature. Contamination by bacteria, viruses, parasites, or chemical substances is a major concern.

On World Food Safety Day, it’s important to note that, while there’s no proof that Covid-19 is spread through food, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that basic food safety etiquette be followed in general. This involves washing your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water before preparing or consuming food and keeping a close eye on the danger of food contamination during storage or packing.

Covid Update: 28.5M cases, 132,364 new fresh cases with 2713 deaths

The India Saga Saga |

According to Covid Update from the Union ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW), which was updated at 8 a.m. on Friday, India registered 132,364 instances of coronavirus sickness in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 28,574,350. In the same time span, 2713 people died from Covid-19, bringing the total death toll to 340,702, according to the report.

For the first time in two days, India’s daily new instances of viral sickness have decreased marginally. Since registering 127,510 new infections in the 24 hours leading up to June 1 — the lowest single-day increase in more than two months — the country has reported 132,788 and 134,154 cases in the following two days.

The national recovery rate has increased to 93.80 percent, according to Friday’s figures, after 207,071 people were discharged in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total recovered cases to 26,597,655. Active cases have decreased to 1,635,993, representing 5.72 percent of the national caseload, a decrease of 77,420 infections over the previous 24-hour bulletin.

On Friday morning, the government-run Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) announced that 2,075,428 tests were conducted on June 3. While this is a decrease from the 2,159,873 tests completed on June 2, the ICMR numbers reveal that 357,433,846 tests have been conducted to date.

The decrease in daily cases has coincided with containment measures implemented by state and union territory governments. Several state governments, including Delhi and Maharashtra, have declared plans to “unlock” or depart from lockdown or lockdown-like constraints, while others have announced an extension of limitations to further disrupt the chain of transmission of telecommunications.

However, because daily instances continue to exceed 100,000, the federal government stated on June 1 that the Central Board of Secondary Education’s class 12th board exams will be canceled (CBSE). Within hours, the Council of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (CISCE) also declared that its class 12th exams would be canceled. When the second round of tests was announced in April, the class 10th tests were canceled.
