Alpesh Rawal, being an influencer, entrepreneur, owner of Garba academy Nav9Rang, battled his way through life and reached the peaks of success. He was a gold medallist in Mumbai university of Engineering and he is an MBA in marketing.
Since his childhood, Alpesh has been fond of dancing and Navratri was the festival he always looked forward to. But over the course of time, life has different plans for him. After his MBA, he started working with a private bank. He tackled his way through life, travelled in crowded trains every day, and at the end of the day, he questioned himself and the way he was leading his life. It got much worse when he was depressed and started questioning his existence.

When life threw stones at Alpesh, he got ahold of those stones and started building his life. After recovering from depression, he had the support of his family and friends for whatever he wished to do. He found a job at a construction company with a mass of 500 employees and he’s a partner now! He also had the urge to lose the extra weight and thus, decided to fight his way through. Around this time, he found the love of his life and also her Lady Luck, Bhumi. He’s compatible and strong in every way possible.

After reaching the peaks of success, he now decided to pursue his passion for dancing and Garba and thus, founded and became the owner of the Nav9Rang Garba academy. It wasn’t easy to rise above the competing Garba academy, but Alpesh never barged a single bit. The sleepless nights and his hard work did pay off. He worked tremendously and he was extremely passionate about his academy.


Upon being asked why he wanted to pursue this ambition, Alpesh said, “I don’t intend to live with any regrets. We have one life to live and I want to make the most out of it.” He is truly an inspiration to many who think they can’t pursue their passion.


His journey has been filled with obstacles and many ups and downs but he never sensed the need to give up. Some of his life lessons are truly inspiring;

  1. Be consistent. You need to be consistent with what you start. Never procrastinate or stop midway. Keep working till you reach a point of recognition.
  2. Aim to be successful not famous. People often forget that the reason they started doing something was to be successful and not to be famous. Your work defines you. Keep grinding till you reach the successes that you’ve set for your life, being famous is never important.

His wisdom and motivating words have always influenced the ones who are in his company. With his never-ending hunger and grinding, Alpesh is making his way towards the heights of success and is working tirelessly towards his Garba academy. He now wishes to conduct shows on the international level and work towards opening different franchises.

Fashion designer gets engaged in a two-day dazzling ceremony.

City-based fashion-designer Sirisha Reddy got engaged recently to businessman Aashwij Reddy from Hyderabad in a grand ceremony in the bride’s hometown, Kurnool. The two tender hearts got to know each other for a few months of courtship before their engagement ceremony, while the marriage was arranged by their respective parents.
Sirisha Reddy, daughter of businessman Rajshekhar Reddy and Devi Reddy, is an acclaimed fashion designer. She shot to fame with “Sirisha Reddy Label” which she had launched along with her brother Sanjay Reddy, who is an interior designer and businessman.
“Sanjay has been a tower of strength throughout my life, and has been super supportive of my fiance as well,” said the would-be bride with smiles, while speaking about her brother.
Aashwij Reddy, son of renowned builder Narasimha Reddy and Rama Reddy, is a graphic designer, who has worked in Australia for the past few years. He will now be shifting base to Hyderabad to stay with his beloved.
The Covid-19 pandemic restricted the number of guests at the glitzy, with only close family members and friends in attendance, who followed the health protocols. “Even though we were slightly disappointed as we couldn’t do it at a grand scale that we would have liked, it was a blessing in disguise, as we got to spend quality time with our near and dear ones over the two days which wouldn’t have been possible otherwise,” said Sirisha.
The two-day event featured a Mehendi ceremony in the first evening of the two days long ceremonies. Ganesh and Lakshmi pooja was held on the morning of the second day. The finale of the ceremony was with the glamorous ring ceremony.
The entire wardrobe for the bride, groom and each of the family members was conceptualized and designed by the “Sirisha Reddy label” with its singular focus on quality. The label has its ethos of blending modernity with tradition.
The couple showcased their intricate design aesthetics in each of the ceremonies, with the bride wearing an elegant turquoise lehenga and the groom complimenting her look with a sea-blue silk shirt for the mehendi ceremony. For the morning poojas, the bride adorned a traditional parrot green silk lehenga and was bedecked with elaborate jewelry, while Aashwij looked dapper in an embroidered red silk Kurta.
At the ring ceremony, the bride looked stunning in an exquisite emerald lehenga with embellished silver detailing and glass pieces complimented by a glamorous diamond choker, while the groom turned heads attired in a matching sherwani.
Guests were captivated by the decor which was designed keeping with a traditional ethos in mind. While the decor for the Mehendi ceremonies and the morning poojas had a minimalist approach, the ring ceremony involved extravagant decorations with the hallmark being a multicolor flower engagement as the centerpiece. The guests in attendance were left awestruck by sumptuous traditional South Indian dishes throughout the day.
Being creative individuals, the couple also took their shared love for design and technology further with the #siriaashu hashtag and a bespoke logo designed especially for their union. They now excitedly await their marriage ceremony on December 10 this year.

Have you ever thought that the love of a brother for his sister can give birth to the idea of a venture and prove to be successful? Setting up a business and making it a worldwide brand is not a walk in the park. And one has to keep a nose to the grindstone to achieve it. Maybelline is one such brand; its impeccable journey began in the 20th century. At present, the estimated annual revenue of the company is $95M. 

Every brand has a backstory but Maybelline owns a very fascinating story. The discovery of the brand was not a simple business strategy, it was way more than that. The tale commenced with Tom Lyle Williams, a 19-year-old boy who came up with this idea. It struck him when he observed his sister preparing a mixture of coal dust and Vaseline together and then applying it on her eyelashes to give them a voluminous and jet black color look. Then he took inspiration from this idea and did an experiment producing the eye product which was given the name Lash-Brow-Ine. 

Soon the product became popular among the local population. But it was not ready to become a worldwide brand as the name wasn’t that appealing to grab the attention of the businessmen around the world. 

Now it was a task to decide the name and this time he did not have to go too far, he chose the name of his sister, as she was the reason behind the inspiration of the discovery. Like this he came up with the first half name of the mascara i.e. Maybel the second half was kept on the name of Vaseline and together it became Maybelline. This story behind the name made it one in a million and people connected with it as it was the tale of a brother and sister.

From the beginning itself the brand used to focus on the eyes, their first modern beauty product Maybelline Cake Mascara came in 1917 and it was made for daily use. The product was a hit. Then later in 1960, they introduced Ultra Lash which claimed to provide the long, full, and curvy effect to the eyelashes.

Later they tried their hand into more variety of cosmetics for example lipsticks, nail paints, etc. in 1960 putting up mascara and other eye products indicated that the girl as evil.  The daily soaps evil characters of women were portrayed by their eye makeup only. And this became the reason for the rise of the company because it was producing different styles of eye makeup/cosmetics.

We have seen at present i.e. 2020 that the brand produces products for different income groups and products suitable for different age groups too. This policy was adopted from the 20th century only which was from the beginning of their business. The Brand doesn’t portray a specific image of a woman, that how she should be, what is the definition of beautiful. They rather made women feel pretty no matter what age they are in, what complexion they have always concentrated on the happiness of the women.

The stock market is notorious for coming down on its players with huge losses. However, the same stock market which might make someone lose their house also blesses some with a new adobe.

Mohit Gupta is one of those blessed ones. But do not mistake his blessing as a stroke of luck. It was his persistence and determination that made him a stock market genius.

The journey of this genius starts more than half a decade ago in 2014, when he took out a loan for 1 Lakh Rupees after completing his schooling – to start trading in the stock market. Experience comes from highs and lows and his learning started early – 2 days into trading to be more precise. Within two days he crashed with a loss of 40,000 Rupees and knew enough despair to make him consider quitting.

However, he rallied once again, picked himself off the ground and navigated his way to a sizeable profit. By the end of 2014, he had managed to pay off the loan he took out earlier in the year.

After clearing the debt, he focused on learning the in and outs of the stock market so that he wouldn’t have to go through turbulent times again. After educating himself, he coined his tagline – “Analysis is my first priority” and took to educating others via social media platforms. Now he has over 500 students from all over India learning under him.

In 2016, he started the construction on his dream home and dipped his toes in big capital trading. Again he came across a bumpy road. This helped him polish up his vision even more and made him an unstoppable force.

In 2018, after his house was complete, he set his sights on the next big thing and bought his dream car on his own and quickly added a bike into his roster of vehicles.

Mohit Gupta is a wayfarer and undertook the iconic Leh Ladakh road trip in 2019. He did so after making a stable ground himself and fulfilling all his physiological needs.

Making money enough to fulfil the basic needs – according to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs – is very easy, anyone can do that with a little effort.

Mohit knew his potential and with his knowledge and persistence has managed to enter the echelon where he can make his choices freely.
