Despite a confirmed slot online, beneficiaries are unable to receive the Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) vaccine shot, according to the Centre. This is due to poor management by the vaccination center employees, not to faults in the CoWIN digital platform.

“Availability of slots on Co-WIN portal is based on the vaccination schedule published by district immunization officer (DIO)/session site in-charge which in turn depends upon the availability of vaccines. States/UTs have been advised that they should publish vaccination slots based on the availability of vaccines. The Union Government has also instructed all states/UTs to give preference to beneficiaries with online appointments than to on-site registrations,” said the Union health ministry in a statement on Monday.

During the Covid-19 immunization procedure, the CoWIN platform facilitates registration (both online and on-site), appointment scheduling, vaccination, and beneficiary verification.

It was brought to the authorities’ attention that in certain circumstances, DIOs would advertise a session but then cancel it or send the beneficiaries back because vaccines were in insufficient supply, causing difficulty to those who had previously scheduled an appointment.

Deep Technology Knowledge

He has a couple of research papers published on Car Hacking & Cloud Security. Seeing his utmost interest and contribution in cyberspace he was awarded as the budding researcher award by IEEE & Amity University in International Conference on Computation, automation & knowledge management, at Amity Dubai. Thus at the age of 20 he became the youngest Indian to train the Indian Audit and Account Service Officers and more than 50 International delegates of 35+ countries on Safeguarding Critical Security Infrastructure and making them aware of corporate cyber crimes and its preventions.

Spoken word poetry is an art form that derives much of its strength from a speaker’s delivery and style. It is a process of bringing poetry from page to stage. One such Spoken Word Artist Sandeep Virk’s poetry is making waves in Punjabi music industry.

Virk has been hosting various Punjab-based and national events. One the major event hosted by Sandeep is ‘Twitter Di Chaupal’ that was organized by the social media App Twitter. The event was attended by the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.

She started her career as a talent manager to renowned artists, including Mandy Takhar, Navi Ferozpurwala, Wamiqa Gabbi, Anmol Gagan Maan working in the Punjabi industry. Later, she got in touch with the renowned Punjabi poet, actress and host Satinder Satti. She is working with Satti as her manager. It is pertinent to mention that Satti is her inspirational as well, who told Virk that she is good at poetry and start making her videos and put it on social media sites and Youtube. Interestingly, Sandeep Virk posted two videos on Facebook which got viral from where she got an idea to mix poetry with music and come up with something different.

Barkat Welfare Society has tasked to plant more than 10,000 saplings throughout the country in 2021. The biggest challenge for the founders of this campaign was that it was a homebound campaign in lieu of avoiding gatherings because of Covid-19. All the participants undertook this empowering task from the comfort of their homes.

Founder Randeep Singh Kohli is the President of Barkat Welfare Society, an NGO par excellence who has undertaken several praiseworthy steps towards mother nature and humanity in general. Being the inducer of such blissful events, Randeep Singh Kohli has never left a stone unturned to guide and inspire masses and give them a medium to do the best service towards the nation.
