The era of Mehandi Artists in the wedding industry- says SonaMistry

The India Saga Saga |

The journey from 0 to 100 isn’t easy, it takes tolls of hardwork, dedication, determination and most importantly creativity and patience. Even after reaching 100, the journey isn’t over. A lot more has to be achieved, a lot more has to be changed and a lot more respect has to be gained. SonaMistry’s ancestral origin belongs to Rajasthan- a city of culture, tradition and art. And this inclined her towards the art. Being from the Marwadi family, she always saw how every lady of the house got excited for Mehandi before every function and that persuaded her to try out some designs in grade 10th. Later, she continued her studies and started her graduation in software engineering but she never gave up on creating designs. In this process, she realised how fun it was to create new designs every day and to wait for the stain to get mature. She started putting Mehandi to her immediate family members and known ones. She got a lot of appreciation for her work and intricate details in the design which pushed her to leave software engineering and take up Mehandi as a profession.

In the initial days, she had to face a lot of criticism. A lot of people mocked her for not continuing with her studies but her family backed her and supported her. A lot of people didn’t look upto Mehandi artists as they look upto any other stakeholder from the wedding industry. However, she was very stubborn about how she wanted to change the mindset of people and make this a better place for all other upcoming artists. She continued working hard and creating new designs every day.

She started innovating new western figures and western designs, in order to let people know that a traditional Mehandi can also get a western and contemporary touch. In the year 2019 when she completed 5 years as Professional Mehandi Artist, she was awarded with Best Creative Bridal Mehandi Artist Award and this was the time when 50% people’s mouth was shut and their perception about Mehandi artist changed. However, still a lot of people don’t respect the Mehandi artist as they should respect. The stakeholders from the wedding industry itself, do not credit the Mehandi Artist while posting the picture of the bride on various social media platforms even after knowing how important is Mehandi for the wedding. So my fight is still not over, a lot more journey has to be lived.

“ In my career of 7 years, hundreds of time I have been questioned of how do you create such creative designs. The process is quite simple- I understand my client’s needs and what exactly they are looking for in the design. Accordingly, I create the design or the figure which expresses their story or emotions perfectly. Sometimes, the final outcome is not like what we had actually imagined at the start. In this case, I try to create it again with some variations or mostly improve it by adding some elements.” says the celebrity Mehandi artist, SonaMistry.

She wishes to wake up every day and create different, unique and creative designs every day and night. For her this is just the trailer, the entire film is left to be released yet.

Arteriovenous Malformation Repair: What you need to know

The India Saga Saga |

Arteriovenous Malformations (AVMs) occur when a group of vessels in the body form incorrectly, generating an abnormal connection between arteries and veins. These vessels tangle unusually and form direct connections, bypassing normal tissues. Mostly, AVM is a congenital malformation, but it can be detected in adults too.

Initially, symptoms associated with AVM are hard to diagnose; it may cause headaches or seizures in some people. An AVM that has not burst does not possess early signs but can be discovered in other medical examinations conducted during unrelated health issues. However, a ruptured AVM can cause leakage in blood vessels leading to stroke, swelling in the brain, or cardiac arrest. In such conditions, a person needs immediate medical attention.

Symptoms of AVM

Usually, symptoms of AVM are detected based on the precise location of the malformation. According to doctors, AVM carries a higher risk of bleeding, causing severe damage to the organs. As a person grows older, mostly during puberty or pregnancy, and if anybody had a severe injury,AVM can get bigger. The patient’s life is at risk with other health concerns, including pain, ulcers, haemorrhage or even stroke or heart attack.

Some physical symptoms associated with AVM are:

•           Headache

•           Back pain

•           Seizures

•           Loss of sensation in some parts of the body

•           Buzzing sound in the ears

•           Dizziness

•           Muscle Weakness

•           Facial Paralysis

•           Trouble in speaking, understanding and vision

Treatment

Treatment for AVMis determined based on the abnormality, signs, symptoms, discomfort, the patient’s overall health, and the risks associated. Firstly, AVM is monitored using imaging tests such as MRI, MRA, CT Scan or Cerebral Angiography to determine the severity of the condition and re-occurring changes. A specialist will decide the best possible treatment after performing a critical examination and determining factors if AVM has already bled or the part of the brain, which can be treated without the risk of damage.

Medication

Medicines will help in controlling the primary symptoms, including headaches, back pain and seizures.

Surgery

AVM is treated depending on its location, size, and how it affects the patient. Mainly surgery is considered the most appropriate approach for treating patients with AVM, especially if there is a high risk of bleeding. In some cases, surgery may help eradicate AVM completely. Embolization and sclerotherapy are the two most common treatments for AVM.

•           Embolization- In this procedure, a catheter is inserted through a blood vessel to permanently block the blood flow (arteries), feeding the AVM with synthetic materials such as metal coils, medical glue or plugs. An AVM starts to shrink in size when the blood flow stops passing through it.

•           Sclerotherapy- In this procedure, a patient is injected with liquid medicine (sclerosant), destroying the vessels leading to less or no blood flow, passing through the AVM. The surgeon will use X-ray imaging or ultrasound scan to pinpoint the exact location of AVM. Sclerotherapy is applied to treat other vascular malformations, including lymphatic malformation or venous malformation.

In AVM management, embolization and sclerotherapy often reduce the symptoms and ease the condition. However, these methods don’t fully cure AVM but limit its growth. Many patients undergo these treatments several times throughout their lifetime.

Follow-Up

Regular follow-ups with the doctor are an important part of the treatment of AVM. Your doctor will continue to take imaging tests to ensure the condition is resolved and the risk of relapse is not likely to occur.

Against COVID-19, US, UAE, Saudi Arabia step forward to help India

The India Saga Saga |

The US, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia close allies of India, have pledged their support for India’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, with Washington requesting that oxygen generators, concentrators, Remdesivir antiviral medication, and vaccine raw materials be airlifted in the next 48 hours. The United Arab Emirates is sending a large shipment of oxygen concentrators to India, while Saudi Arabia is sending a large shipment of oxygen generators.

While both Indian and US interlocutors criticised the US spokesperson’s earlier remarks on raw material supply as insensitive, Washington’s decision to help India’s battle against the raging pandemic came after a thorough conversation between National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and his US counterpart Jake Sullivan on Sunday night.

On Sullivan’s conversation with Doval, NSC spokesperson Emily Horne released a statement that “The United States has identified sources of specific raw material urgently required for Indian manufacture of the Covishield vaccine that will immediately be made available for India.”

The US is also working around the clock to deploy available resources and equipment, according to the release.

Both Doval and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar have been talking to the US and other Indian allies including the UAE and Saudi Arabia on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s orders. Though Doval was in contact with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, Jaishankar was in contact with the European Union, specifically France, for assistance with oxygen concentrators, Remdesivir, and raw materials for producing vape juice.

Official sources said that the UAE is sending a large shipment of oxygen concentrators to India, while Saudi Arabia is sending oxygen generators with the hope of more aid. The US, on the other hand, has provided full support and will be sending shipments from its bases in the Indo-Pacific. “The India-US ties remain as close as ever,” a senior official said.

The White House went on to say in a statement about Doval and Sullivan’s talk, which further read, “To help treat Covid-19 patients and protect front-line health workers in India, the United States has identified supplies of therapeutics, rapid diagnostic test kits, ventilators, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that will immediately be made available for India. The United States also is pursuing options to provide oxygen generation and related supplies on an urgent basis.”

The US Development Finance Corporation (DFC) is also financing a significant expansion of manufacturing capacity for BioE, an Indian vaccine manufacturer, allowing BioE to ramp up to produce at least 1 billion doses of Covid-19 vaccines by the end of 2022.

They further said, “Additionally, the United States is deploying an expert team of public health advisors from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and USAID to work in close collaboration with the US Embassy, India’s health ministries, and India’s Epidemic Intelligence Service staff.”

“Fast-track the mobilization of emergency services available to India through the Global Fund,” according to USAID and the CDC. On Twitter, the US Vice-President reaffirmed her country’s support for India in the fight against the pandemic.

On Sunday, India announced 349,691 new cases of the disease, setting a new world record for the largest single-day increase in cases, bringing the total number of active cases to 16,960,162. India reported more than 300,000 cases in 24 hours for the fourth day in a row. On the same day, 2,767 people died from infection-related diseases, bringing the total death toll to 192,311.

Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd identifies the Common Summer Ailments &Tips to avoid it

The India Saga Saga |

“Water is the only drink for a wise man.” – Henry David Thoreau, American Naturalist

As you all know, our body is maintained in a constant range of temperature. In the summer especially when you are outdoors, body faces an extra heat load. Initially the body tries to dissipate the heat by various mechanisms. Sweating occurs and when it evaporates, it cools the body. Excess heat is also thrown out through exhaled breath, urine and faeces. But with continuous heat load, this body defences can weaken and even fail.

Dr. Santosh Datar from Ziqitza Healthcare Limited (ZHL) remarked,“the combination of excessive heat load, less water intake and excessive sweating can lead to dehydration and heat-related illnesses. Rigorous exercise or any illness such as fever, loose motions or vomiting can aggravate dehydration. Dehydration can occur in people of all ages, but young children, babies and older adults are more prone to it.

Experts at Ziqitza identifies various heat related illnesses and their symptoms as tabulated below.

Effect Mechanism Symptoms
Sunburn Exposure to sun Superficial skin burns
Heat Rash   Clogging of sweat gland ducts Rash and itching
Heat Cramps   Loss of excessive water and salts Muscle cramps in arms, legs and abdomen
Dehydration Loss of water from body Increased thirst, dry mouth, weakness, headaches, dizziness, muscle cramps, dry and cracked lips, irritability, dark coloured urine
Heat Exhaustion Excess heat load   Fatigue, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, mild disorientation, elevated body temperature
Syncope   Fainting
Heat Stroke   Failure of heat regulation Confusion, strange behaviour, vomiting, red, hot and dry skin, shallow breathing, convulsions, unconsciousness

Dr. Santosh Datar from Ziqitza Limited highlights few Preventive Measures for Heat Related Illnesses

1) Drink plenty of water and fluids

The best way to avoid dehydration is to drink plenty of water throughout the day, but this can also be supplemented with coconut water, lemon water, fresh buttermilk, clear soup or fruit juices (without sugar) once in a while to keep up your electrolyte levels. Sweetened fruit juices, cold drinks and alcohol should be avoided. When you pass urine, look at the colour. If it is dark coloured, you water intake is not sufficient. You may look at the urine colour chart available on the internet. Some medicines can also change the colour of urine. Similar observations were made by experts at ZHL Rajasthan.

2) Wear appropriate clothing

Loose-fitting, lightweight, light-coloured cotton clothes are ideal to be worn during this season. Dark colours absorb more heat, which in turn, will increase your body temperature, while tight clothes will absorb the sweat, instead of letting it evaporate from your body. Sweating is body’s natural cooling system, and it is best to wear airy clothing which allows your body to keep cool naturally.

3) Protection from direct exposure to sunlight

Avoid going outdoors during midday if possible. If you have to go, walk in the shades, wear wide-brim hats, sunglasses or use an umbrella. Carry a water bottle and take regular sips. Use sunscreen with SPF higher than 15 to avoid getting sunburns. If your day plans include a visit to the pool or a beach, use a water-resistant one with a higher SPF rating.

4)Avoid diuretics

Diuretics are substances or foods that increase the production of urine, which in turn results in loss of fluids from the body. Alcohol and caffeine containing beverages like coffee, cola have diuretic properties and should be avoided.  Avoid tobacco and smoking. Ziqitza Rajasthan & Ziqitza Limited Rajasthan have worked closely with frontline health workers to educate about avoiding smoking.

5) Eat fruits and vegetables

Fruits and vegetables such as watermelon, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, oranges, grapes and banana are rich in water content, essential minerals, and electrolytes. Include them in your diet for natural hydration. Additionally, avoid very spicy, oily and pungent foods as they can increase acidity.

Speaking about the importance ofemergency medical aid, Mr. Amitabh Japuria – MD & CEO, Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd said, “Medical emergency strikes without warning in form of an accident or sudden illness. Research has shown that many patients with severe injury or heart attack or any other life-threatening medical conditions, die within first one hour.Severe dehydration, severe heat exhaustion or heat stroke are medical emergencies. One needs to immediately call for professional help as time is of utmost essence to minimize complications and subsequent disabilities. It is therefore necessary for all people, including children and the elderly, to memorize the relevant emergency numbers, like 108 for emergency medical aid. These may vary from state to state and region to region.

He also organised Yamuna Mahotsav in Delhi to raise awareness on the massively polluted Yamuna River.

Satendra Singh is a senior reputed Industrial Labour Law Consultant for more than 20 years. He is also the advisor to the top level managements of many Indian and foreign companies.

One significant achievement of the stalwart is that he has been a pioneer in designing pay structure in compliance with the labour laws of India.

At the same time, we will get rid of pollution. There is a shortage of oxygen in the air chamber today, this area will cooperate in filling it”.

Satendra Singh also criticised the tree-planting parade of governments and plantation campaigns of the administration for their usual rhetoric of planting saplings and leaving it then and there without any further attention. He also mentioned that the government, administration, daylight environmentalists and related authorities managed to get their name in the Guinness Book of Records for planting over fifty million trees in a day but en réalité, the figures are merely confined to papers. If actual accounting of the surviving trees is honestly made, not more than one-fourth of the trees will remain.

The creatively bent Satendra organises mass Bhandara in an idiosyncratic way. The special thing about the bhandara is that they organise tree bhandaras, where people are encouraged to organize and distribute potted plants to the people.

Chairman Satendra Singh Environmentalist said,”The rapid loss of oxygen from our atmosphere is a matter of great concern and trees are good sources of oxygen, so we should understand their utility and more and more around our homes, factories and business establishments. More plants should be planted as well as their care should be taken properly. We should plant more and more people like Peepal, Neem, Vat, Pilkhan, etc., which give a lot of oxygen and also keep the air chamber clean”.

Satendra Singh is the proud composer and writer of the book, “Bharat me SwachchataevamParyavarankeMayne”, b, a hippie, dispatched in Hindan Mahotsav’s program. In this book, he clarified alongside supporting data how we could make our country Clean, Green and Healthy, and how it is possible that we would make our India Pollutants free. Currently, we are living in a polluted atmosphere. Because of this, we have numerous illnesses of the heart, lungs, and kidney. Presently it’s an ideal opportunity to stir ourselves to battle contamination with the goal that we can save our children’s future.

The initial schooling was done at CBSE affiliated schools in Muzaffarpur Bihar. After completing his school, he moved to Alwar, Rajasthan, and completed his degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy from Alwar Pharmacy College affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Services, Jaipur.

From where you gained occult knowledge?

The learning and inclination to occult sciences are rooted in the rich history of the family. I gained occult knowledge from the very starting of my life and today it became as a mode to transform human life with the knowledge and skill gifted by almighty.

The first learning or initiation in occult science, I owe to my great grandfather from whom I learned the nuances of Astrology & Palmistry. Along with these basics of occult sciences, I was also gifted with motivational life stories from our religious scriptures such as Vedas, Ramayana, and practical life stories of ancestors penned down in the form of memories.

Post-reading those, I read about Numerology, Lama Fera Healing, and many other occult modalities.

Along with the education journey of modern science, these learnings of the occult were also going on simultaneously through the effort and guidance of gurus.

How it all started?

I started my learning at the age of 6 years, and from there until now, this has been a learning journey with an objective to add new learnings every day in my life. I consider myself as a lifetime learner with passion and zeal to learn with every passing second of time.

In the initial years, the advice based on Astro numerology was limited to people known to me (virtually friends, relatives, their referrals, and so on).

With time, that advice shared in-person to a limited set of people started bearing fruits and on the motivation of those close group, laid the foundation of NumroVani on Sep 15, 2019, and started advising the public both online and offline platforms.

What is your achievement today?

The biggest achievement is seeing the smile on the people I have advised and keep on advising with every day.

I owe every achievement of mine to Lord Shiva and my gurus.

‘Generic India’ founded by Vikas Yadav provides medicine at minimal cost

The India Saga Saga |

We tend to think too much and feel too little. We need compassion more than machinery; we need goodness and gentleness more than cleverness. Life will be violent without these values, and all will be lost. But In this tough time of the pandemic, some people are keeping humanity alive and one of them is Vikas Yadav, founder and CEO of ‘Generic India,’ a pharmaceutical Govt recognized startup.

Vikas came up with this idea when the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 saw a rise and many people who did not receive medication suffered or received medicine at a very high cost. He did some research on drug prices and found that they were very low price. Also noticed that there are two types of medication available: generic and branded.

He saw that India exports generic medicines to 200 countries; however, although generic medicines are widely available in India at a low cost, some retailers and other sellers charge a high price. The organisation focuses on people with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and others who take medications daily.

The company aims to offer high-quality medication to the common man at a low cost as compared to market prices and to ensure that customers receive safe and reliable medicine.

Generic India offers up to a 90% discount on all generic medications in all categories (Cardio, Diabetic, Paediatrics, Gyne, Derma, ENT, ortho). They have over 1500 items in their portfolio. All products are produced in WHO and GMP-certified facilities and checked by the NABL Lab.

If one wants to take advantage, “Generic India” can be found in places like Hisar, Gurgaon, Jhansi, Indore, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Satana, and others. Also, they have finalised several franchises in 17+ cities across India, in states such as Haryana, UP, MP, Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar, Assam, and others.

By the end of 2021, they have 1000+ aggregator stores and are getting 10+ stores per region. They intend to open 1000+ stores in the first step, with a goal of 100 cities.

Vikas says that “ We will do all we can to contribute to the creation of a safe country.”

Tips to Lead a Healthy Lifestyle

The India Saga Saga |

Don’t we all want to lead a healthy lifestyle, right? A healthy lifestyle keeps you away from lots of diseases and much more. You stay productive, and there’s no room for negativity either. When you feel good from the inside, you see positivity floating around you. Have a look down below at some of the ways you can lead a healthy lifestyle.

 Eat Well

Let’s just start from the basics. Eating healthy matters a lot, right? When you don’t eat well, there are chances that you’ll get sick often, and that is something we all dread. In order to eat healthily, you must eliminate junk from your diet. Make sure to opt for healthy food like fruits and veggies. However, that does not mean you skip meat at all. Make sure to consume the right amount of nutrients needed by the human body to stay healthy.

You should also opt for unsaturated fats instead of saturated ones. Sure, fats are a must for your body to function well. However, too many fats can affect your body weight and cardiovascular health as well. In order to do this, you should replace frying stuff with boiling, steaming, or baking. Moreover, try using vegetable oils and make sure to remove the fatty part of the meat you are going for.

Moving on, when it comes to drinks, opt for juices instead of fizzy drinks. Trust me, these drinks are only making your health worse. There is nothing good coming from them. Simply opt for fresh juices that you can easily make at your home. Moreover, don’t drink too much coffee or tea either. A lot of caffeine is not good for your health.premium counterfeit id websites

 Vitamins Matter

Another thing you should focus on is eating vitamins. There are many capsules available out there, such as vitamin B, C, D, and even multi-vitamins. Go for the one recommended by your doctor and have them regularly. Remember, vitamins play a major role when it comes to maintaining your health. Doctors out there recommend them to people to consume on a regular basis. These keep your health intact and make sure you face no issues when it comes to your health.

Exercising

Don’t forget to exercise on every day. Exercise is extremely important when it comes to maintaining your health, so don’t skip on that at all. Go for a jog, a walk, or cycling each day. Be it in the morning or right after you come back from work. You should also consider joining a gym and keep track of your fitness level.

Moreover, lots of people meditate in the morning as they believe it helps them in spending a productive day. It has a huge impact on their thinking skills, and they start feeling good and energized.

Get Checked Regularly

You should also consider getting yourself checked regularly. You never know what disease you might be going through, and it is best if it’s caught beforehand. This could include anything, be it diabetes, cardiovascular issues, and more.

Book an appointment with your GP after every 3-4 months. Moreover, if your doctor has recommended some medications, do not forget to take them at all.

Spend Time With Your Friends And Family

Another thing you should consider doing is spending time with your friends and family. Now, the reason behind this is that isolation can make one go crazy. Chances are that you might get depressed if you are too lonely, and that is a big no when it comes to your health. Talk to your friends, share whatever you are feeling and let it all out. Remember, we all need a shoulder to cry on, and there is nothing to be ashamed of. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and you must keep that in mind.

Go out for drinks every once in a while, enjoy regular family meals that can help you cope up with the different stuff you are going through. Moreover, don’t forget to laugh and smile several times a day!

Sleep Well

Getting a good night’s sleep is a must to take care of your health. Have you ever noticed that when we don’t sleep well, we can’t really function throughout the day? Moreover, we get all cranky and end up ruining our entire day.

As adults, we must sleep for at least 8 hours every night in order to function well and spend the day feeling fully energized. This way, you will feel productive and will lead a happy and healthy lifestyle. Sounds great, doesn’t it?

Reduce Your Salt And Sugar Intake

Another thing you need to focus on is to reduce your salt as well as sugar intake. Now, a high salt intake is known to result in high blood pressure that can be pretty harmful to your health. This can also lead to an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. To reduce salt, you should choose products that come with minimal sodium content. Also, try substituting salt with other spices when cooking.

Moving on, to reduce your sugar intake, you should opt for non-sugary drinks and eliminate desserts from your diet. It’s okay to have one every once in a while; however, don’t have them every day as they can lead to diabetes. If you’re a fan of sweetness, have fruits instead of cakes, etc.

Relax

Had a hard week at work? Instead of working at home over the weekend, you should focus on yourself and your routine. Working continuously is not good for your physical as well as mental health. Give yourself some time,  watch a movie, and simply relax. This is a must for you if you want to lead a healthy lifestyle. Make sure you do not stress yourself at all.
