On Sunday, 19th November, the 40-day winning streak of Men in Blue comes to an end, the mighty Australians outplayed the Indians in every aspect of the game and became the world champions. Australia won the toss and decided to field first, restricting the Indians to just 240. In an attempt to chase 241, Australia got off to a rough start when Steve Smith and Mitchell Marsh were removed by Jasprit Bumrah, and David Warner was removed by Mohammed Shami, leaving Australia at 47/3. After that, Head and Marnus Labuschagne, who amassed a resolute half-century of his own, formed an unbreakable alliance to help Australia cross the finish line.

India scored 240 runs in the innings, with a patient 66 runs off 107 balls, Rahul is the top-scorer for India, and Virat Kohli also reached a half-century. India was saved by Kohli and Rahul after the hosts lost Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer in the span of five balls, falling to 81-3. Kangaroos came up with a strong game plan against every Indian player and then executed it very successfully, the 1 over spell by Mitchell Starc, the overs of the 5th baller and the wicket of Surya Kumar Yadav tell the story of how good Australians are with their game plan. 

When the yellow army back to the middle to chase, they showed their intent from the very first ball. Australian openers smashed the Indian ballers with 5 boundaries in just two overs to Bumrah and Shami. However Indian bowlers made a strong comeback and took three quick wickets in the first 10 overs, but somehow Head and Marnus managed to survive the furious spell of Indian bowlers. Once the ball stops dancing both the Australian batsmen start playing their natural game and get their team off the mark. 

It was the last ball of the 43rd over and Maxwell hit it to deep mid-wicket, as soon as he completed the second run he raised his bat and celebrated the win. The celebration of Maxwell put 142 crore Indians into disappointment and tears. Virat Kohli for his consistency and record-breaking runs awarded Player of the Tournament and Travis Head was received as Man of the Match. “Rohit Sharma is one of the unluckiest players on the earth,” said the Australian opener Travis Head.

The dedicated design and engineering team at Cosmos Pumps covers the whole set of engineering disciplines for every project. Our manufacturing facility is spread over 25,000 square feet. Everything is performed from scratch to final output at our production facility, including fabricating components, assembling, and painting as well. As the Chief Executive Office of Cosmos Pumps, Mr. Ankit Jain bears the responsibility of setting the overall strategy, vision and direction for the company. Ankit Jain initially took on the company’s leadership role in 2013. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from JMI University.

Our Auto Prime Dewatering Pumps render high performance under all types of conditions. They are made of an air separator unit, a vacuum pump. These pumps deliver rapid automatic priming. Even with high suction heights these pumps evacuate air from the suction pipe and starts to pump rapidly. Our Auto prime dewatering pumps are portable with and without canopy.

Cosmos Pump Panels has a lot of latest features and is equipped with the latest technology. The outer duty is made in hut style feedar pillar structure and has E.P.D.M rubber seated double door  arrangement. This makes it suitable for operation even in the rain.

Secondly, our CPP has Industrial Contactor & Circuit breakers for  better protection against Current Fault,Overload & Short Circult. This helps in preventing damage to the Panel. Moreover the use of insulated 5 pin socket helps in minimising manual errors of panel and pump connections.

The Panel is waterproof and equipped with LED Lights that are visible during the day as well. It is also humid proof which makes it convenient for operation even under heavy humid environment like tunnels.

Chhath Puja 2023: Chhath Puja is a vibrant and joyous occasion in which women around the nation adorn themselves in their finest attire and adorn their homes with lights and flowers. Chhath Puja is a Vedic festival that is dedicated to the Sun God (Lord Surya) and Chhathi Maiya (another name for Goddess Usha and a known sister to Lord Surya). In Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and some areas of Uttar Pradesh, it is observed with great fanfare and fervour. The four-day celebration of the festival takes place on the sixth day of the Hindu lunar month of Kartika. To express gratitude to the Hindu Sun God Surya Dev for all of life’s blessings, devotees worship him during these four days. Accordingly,  the Chhath Puja festival this year is scheduled to start on Friday, November 17 and run through November 20. Other names for this holy festival are Dala Chhath, Prathihar, Surya Shashthi, and Chhathi.

Significance of Chhath Puja: 

Countless devotees will celebrate Chhath Puja, the festival dedicated to worshipping Surya, the Sun God, and his sister Usha, also known as Chhathi Maiya. The Bihari community celebrates this pious festival with great grandeur on a global scale.

Compared to other Hindu festivals, Chhath Puja rituals are said to be more rigorous and one of the toughest fasting. They entail rigorous fasting (no water), bathing in rivers or other bodies of water, praying while standing in the water, spending a lot of time facing the sun, and giving the sun “Prasad” at sunrise and sunset. During the festival, no food will be prepared with salt, onions, or garlic. Devotees make sure to clean the entire place. The pompous celebrations last long for 4 days worshipping the Surya Dev, the source of all powers. Devotees keep a fast named Vrati. It is observed twice a year, once in summer and once in winter.

November 17- Day 1, Nahay Khay:

Chhath Puja begins with the ritual of Nahay Khay (bathing and feasting) on the first day. 

The followers eat a simple meal (without garlic onions) after bathing in the river or pond. This is the day when people buy fruits, clean their homes, and light diyas (earthen lamps) for puja. The fruits used in the puja also represent the harvest time or season. Drik Panchang reports that the sun will rise at 06:45 am and set at 5:27 pm on this particular day.

November 18 Day 2, Lohanda or Kharna: 

On the second day, named Kharna, devotees keep fast throughout the day, breaking it only after sunset as an offering to the deities. Devotees served a prasad to the Chhathi Maiya and then distributed it amongst relatives and family members., The sunrise time is marked at 06:46 am and the sunset time is 5:26 pm, respectively, according to the Drik Panchang. 

November 19 Day3, Surya Shashth: 

The primary ceremonies begin on the third day. Before dawn, devotees—who are mostly women—assemble at bodies of water, such as ponds or rivers. They present the rising Sun with an Arghya (water offering), standing waist-deep in the water. This year, it will be particularly noteworthy as the third day falls on Sunday, the day dedicated to the Sun. During the night, people sing devotional songs and listen to the Chhath Vrat Katha. Sunrise and sunset are planned for 06:46 am and 5:26 pm, respectively, according to Drik Panchang.

November 20 Day 4, Usha Arghya: 

The Chhath Puja concludes with the offering of Arghya to the rising Sun in the morning. It is thought that Usha is the consort of Surya Dev. After Arghya, the 36-hour fast is finished. Drik Panchang reports that today’s sunrise is at 06:47 am and its sunset is at 5:26 pm. One of the most significant and difficult festivals observed in the nation is Chhath Puja. The women of the family who are celebrating the puja must always observe the four-day fasting ritual without any failure.

Diwali 2023 Bank Holidays: The banks will be completely shut in the coming week, so if you are planning to visit your bank, check the list of holidays.
