Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand inaugurated a Health ATM installed by the JK Tire Limited Company, in association with the Yes Bank under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the Secretariat on Thursday. The government of Uttarakhand has informed in a statement that Health ATMs in Vidhan Sabha Dispensary, Tanakpur Hospital, and Sachivalaya Dispensary are installed by Yes Bank. These Health ATMs were installed to provide the facility for health tests at home. 

As per the reports, JK Tire Company has also installed similar health ATMs in the JLN District Hospital, Police Lines, Joint Hospital Tankarpur, District Hospital Nainital, Jaspur Sub-District Hospital, Community Health Centre, Almora, and Ranikhet. Through these nine Health ATMs, various health tests can be done by the general public on their own, including Blood Group, Lipid Profile, Blood Sugar, Uric Acid, Blood Pressure, HBAC, Trigylside, Cholesterol, Lycoprotein, Pregnancy, Hemoglobin, TLC and DLC, the statement added.

What’s more, a range of key medical tests could be conducted for free at these Health ATMs. CM Dhami headed a meeting with the IOCL representatives, Yes Bank, JK Tire, and Health officials at the secretariat, in which an MoU was also signed for the cooperation in the sector of health between the companies and the Director General. Forty True Net Machines were also inaugurated by Pushkar Singh Dhami that are being made available in all the state blocks. The devices have been installed by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited under its CSR. These machines will help in the investigation of Kovid, TB, and some other diseases, also these devices are being made functional in 40 places in the state.  

The Health ATMs would enable people to keep track of their health from time to time through assistance and timely medical tests. The Visitors and tourists from different countries can also avail the services of timely tests and assistance with the help of these ATMs. “Taking birth in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is indeed a privilege, but doing something for the people means even more. I consider it my good fortune to have this opportunity to serve the people and take a lot of pride in it,” said CM Dhami.

On April 6th, 1980, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was formed with the aim of promoting the principles of Hindu Nationalism and Cultural Conservatism. Under Modi and Shah’s leadership, the BJP has continued to grow and expand its influence. In the 2019 general elections, the party won an even bigger mandate, winning 303 seats in the Lok Sabha. This was a significant achievement, as no political party had won a majority of seats in two consecutive elections since the 1970s. Bharatiya Janata Party almost swept the opposition in the majority of the states. BJP truely has emerged as a patriot party of India under the guidance of both PM Modi and Amit Shah.

The book launch event of Azaad, the memoir of the former J&K Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, took place on Wednesday.
